Reinkaos is terrible, and it got panned when it came out, but I'm seeing a lot of people re-appraise it these days. Not even the sort of people who are usually forgiving of overly polished melodeath crap. I mean hairy cavemen with Incantation patches on their vests.
I'm thinking they're more in love with the "dangerous" mythos surrounding Jon than the actual music.

I'm listening to Carcass' Heartwork for the first time in years. I've always thought that it was the worst album of their original run, but you know what? It's actually pretty good, some of these songs kick a lot of ass. Maybe I've warmed up to melodeath these past few years. Maybe I'll even like Whoracle one day, god forbid.
