I think Jace having a felony record is good for a couple of reasons.

1 - It prevents him from obtaining an FID. It doesn't prevent Commander Lazy Eye from buying a gun, but it removes a lot of his weapons buying options and, frankly, I think Jace is just too stupid and lazy to ever buy one illegally. So, yeah, Jace - firearms = a marginally safer world.

B - If he thinks he's been banhammered from voting and buying .50 cal hand cannons, that's a net positive since it gives him an excuse to pout and play games - which are two of his favorite activities. So it's not all downside for our future veteran wolf-souled Marine.

I would agree but in this day and age having a felony seriously stacks the cards against you trying to do a lot of things, assistance, housing, employment.
Listed in the order of relevance to jace's life at the moment.

Also I've said it before but playing into jace's delusions is wrong on so many levels. I'm not perfect either but I feel like if I say it enough people will think twice before telling him they're secret agents, presidents, and ISIS terrorists.

Well, Jace's SSDI doesn't seem to have been affected by his felony conviction. So long as TerrorMommy is willing, he'll always have housing. And, as far as employment goes, Jace has repeatedly expressed the desire never to have a job, since it conflicts with his gamer/stoner/whatever lifestyle.

I think you're right. It is without a doubt ethically indefensible to mess with a schizophrenic's head. Unfortunately, it's also pretty funny.
