The continued existence of this thread is one of the best arguments for sharia.
Philosophical: by prioritizing self-interest above everything else, you are eroding the foundation of society which cares for groups in need and provides for the others incentives to contribute.
Utilitarian: extreme self-interest harms long-term prospects of survival of any given group.
