And that's all you really have to know about TJ. I will defend my stance that TJ is and was one of the more intelligent anti-sjws in the haydays of anti-sjw content. I can remember when internet blood sports were a thing (For example around December 2017) TJ started to simp for Charles Murray. He was reading the bell curve and was on the verge of saying that black people are basically retards. But what happened next? Internet bloodsports imploded and we saw the slow rise of lefttube. TJ is a grifter, but less so than other content producers, hence his transformation is often slower. Like I've said, he was on the verge of saying black people are retards, but he didn't. What happened is a slow but sure going back to the center for him, economically probably much more towards the left. He probably couldn't identify with the first bigger lefttubers like Hontrapoints, Hbomberguy, PhilosophyTube, but when people like Vaush appeared TJ must (subconsciously) have seen a niche he could potentially infiltrate, since Vaush is in many ways similiar to what TJ was in his youth: a fat sprgy white guy with "edgy" views, with the only difference that anarchism is to Vaush what atheim was to TJ. So it's obviously easier for TJ to rebrand himself as a edgy leftist like Vaush than trooning out and becoming SJW trans TJ.
To be honest, I was quite disappointed of him. I already rolled my eyes when he was reading Charles Murray, but when he then didn't shift more to the right or to the left I thought he actually had now developed some principles in his life. When many of the sceptic community either went far right or far left, he actually more or less stayed where he was. I still remember this video:

This isn't that long ago and here he would still have shown people like Vaush the middle finger. But well, I was wrong. TJ really doesn't have any principles and his political opinions will always align with the dominant political view of YouTube. Now he talks about how there are SJWs on the left, but oh people, right wingers are the REAL SJWs! Yes TJ, we know. The difference is that moralists on the right have basically no power in any Western society. Whereas any new crackpot idea of the left will easily be distributed in any immaginable institution. In the German language feminists succeeded in the last century that people use (mostly in formal settings) signs like "/" or "I" to mark that a person is either male or female. For example "die Lehrer" means "the teachers" in German. But originally in German "the teachers" could mean "the male teachers" or generic "the teachers". The female form would be "die Lehrerinnen". Feminists complained that using the generic form priviliges men, hence new forms were developed:
1) mentioning both "die Lehrerinnen und Lehrer"
2) using "/" "die Lehrer/innen"
3) using "I" "die LehrerInnen"
Is this bad? For me no. I think it's superfluous and looks ugly, but it wasn't worth a culture war. Using phrases like "Lehrerinnen und Lehrer" is nowadays widespread and used by people no matter what their political views are.
But as you know, this isn't enough. There are also non-binary people, gender-nonconforming people, agender people etc. So intersectional feminists started to use "*" to refert to any possible gender.
How long did it take for universities to adapt the "*"? For my university less than a year after it became mainstream. Now it's commonplace to see "Jede*r Lehrer*in" . It looks fucking ugly and using it carries always an ideological message as well. It's not obligatory at the moment, but by not using it you give an ideological message as well ("I don't believe there are more than two sexes/gender") and can be traced by rabid leftists.
So my question to TJ would be: Where do you see such a phenomenon on the right? I'm not saying that I want the right to have the power the left has. But it's tiresome to know that any leftist idea can become mainstream without any considerable backlash.
