In this episode of the Sonic Boom cartoon, the scene at the 1:00 mark seems very...familiar.

I giggled. Then I thought about it. Feels like too much of a stretch since Sonichu isn't the only person who doesn't like pickles, but we should keep an eye out for the episode where Robotnik gets a visit from his time-traveling ancestors from the Wasabi clan.

Well, if I'm remembering correctly, some Sega staff very subtly mentioned Sonichu in a video or something, so it could very well be a subtle reference. It'd be very interesting if one of the writers for the show turned out to be a bit of a Christorian.

The two who referenced Sonichu are only there for SEGA's free stuff friday videos and other things like that, and the show is written and produced by a French studio. As funny as that would be if it was true, its very unlikely.
