While I don't hate Christmas I DO hate how early the Christmas advertising and songs start in the UK. Apparently the UK wants to outdo America by bringing in the Christmas goods in mid-October. it's absolutely crazy sometimes!

Christmas rushes and black fridays are a pain in the ass, especially when one lives in a country where he/she gets extremely hot summer Christmases instead of white ones.

Also, the poor air conditioning in big stores makes things worse.

I like buying gifts for nieces and nephews, but I don't like the idea that I have to spend the same amount on each of them (regardless of age) for the sake of fairness.

Like if I see something really cool that I want to give the oldest one, then I'll have to get the dollar amount same for the rest of them, even for the ones that are too young to realize that they're (sort-of) being shafted. Ultimately over time it would even out, but try explaining that to a woman.

Anybody who has worked in retail over the Christmas season probably hates the music and never wants to hear that shit again. Something about the same 30 or so songs being repeated nonstop while dealing with some of the biggest assholes out there give you some kind of holiday music PTSD.

the worst part about christmas used to be the goddamn lights I swear to fucking god dude those fucking lights sucked ass so bad, one of the fuckers goes out or is even slightly unscrewed/unplugged and the whole fucking string is dead and you have to fucking one by one figure out which piece of shit goddamn made-in-china light is fucking up because it was made by a literal 5 year old and then after 200 bulbs you finally get it and then an hour later another fucking light goes out and you end up just burning your house down in anger

thank god after several decades people started finally making good lights that don't kill the whole strand when one goes out dude I was about to shit fury and rip my hair out in bloody clumps

I love Christmas, but it would be nice if it stayed in December where it belonged. Not starting as early as October like it has been these past few years. I don't want to see christmas stuff appear on the shelves when Halloween hasn't even finished yet.
