Huge necro, but it's really interesting to read this as a long-time Democratie Participative's listener (before they even had a website) and reader. If you ever log in again someday, I'd like to know what was taken from "DP's playbook". It's commonly said that DP itself was inspired by the DS, and some articles indeed were and still are, however the idea of such a website predates the DS I believe, and emerged with the French Boulevard Hitler.
A lot of things happened since this post, as the French ISPs are now coerced to DNS-block the site as soon as it changes its domain, which occurs very frequently. Of course, this can be bypassed with a simple DNS change or a VPN, because the site, hosted in the US, stays up thanks to America's free speech laws. Some specific hate speech laws, on the other hand, were voted in France and more are still in the works solely for this website. The Jews are completely deluded and actually wanted to implement some kind of button which could have been pressed on every single website in existence, transmitted to the French Internet police, and, if deemed "hateful", the website in question would have been forced to delete the bad words within 24 hours. No, Jews. You can't do that.
To this day, DP's owner Boris Le Lay is still in Japan where he faces thirteen arrest warrants, an Interpol red notice, as well as 11+ years in jail in France if he's ever caught. Here are some of his sentences (not up to date).
After having been wiped out of 8chan when the site was shut down, DP has made a XenForo a year ago, which is going nicely, although not quite as active or qualitative as expected (still very informative, particularly the "Racial Guide of French cities" section), but it's pretty much the only Francophone space where you can say racist things freely. I guess most people just have other things to do than shitpost online. The French aren't very familiar with this culture anyway. Truly, God bless the First Amendment or we would have no means of expression whatsoever. By the way, the French writer Hervé Ryssen, a long time friend of Boris who wrote several books on the Jews, largely using quotes from Jewish authors themselves, has been in prison for months and is probably going to stay jailed for a while. He's not in a random French prison, but in Fleury-Mérogis, the largest of Europe, which is overcrowded with all kinds of racial strangers - well, mostly North Africans and Niggers, in fact. He's even been accused of racism, and therefore sued, by some Negro he helped, despite testimonies in his favour from two other Negroes who were present. I hope he manages to get out as soon as possible of this hellhole.
To get back to the topic a bit, I'm a very occasional reader of the DS. Every time I see this website mentioned somewhere, it always gets a shitton of negative criticism, but I honestly have had good laughs reading it; there are also great insights. Anglin is undeniably smart and can be extremely funny. The Daily Stormer guide that he wrote confirms it. His productivity is extremely impressive as well. However, as occasional as I am, I too have noticed some severe contradictions which are indeed quite disturbing in the long run. I'm also not fond of that whole Christian LARPing agenda he's been promoting. DP is more balanced on the matter, especially because the Catholic Church in France and in Europe in general is an active promoter of immigration, LGBTQPed, etc. A sort of Synagogue 2.0. But hasn't it always been this way…?
