This summer has brought many to the forum and many threads keep ending up in the Spergatory. As such, I at least wish to give newfags a fighting chance to actually contribute to the forum instead of just pissing all over the place and calling it a day.
So, you just stumbled onto this innocent forum of people who share interest in farming kiwis and wish to participate by showing the fruits of your labor. Well, there are few things you should know before you get started and rush off to make a thread:
1 - Lurk more you dumbass
This isn't 4chan, this isn't Reddit, we're not Facebook, it ain't Twitter, and it certainly isn't Tumblr. This isn't some place to partake in personal vendettas you have with people and to grab a personal army. Kiwi's aren't a hive mind and will laugh at you if you act like a fucking fool right out of the gate. Look at how things happen, how people here post, the culture of the forum, how content is generated and discussed, etc., before making your own thread.
2 - OP is a faggot
As said, no one cares about your personal vendatta's, especially if you slap down some haphazard info on some nobody, not even archived, without even telling us why anyone here should give 1% of a shit about them. Don't just post a thread in Lolcows and expect it stay there. The Prospering Grounds exists for a reason, start your journey there if you have something interesting and make sure you archive all info and have a good reason why they're a lolcow aside from minor infractions in your own opinion.
3 - You father smells of elderberries
Everyone, including the staff and that dastardly Joshua Moon himself, will mock you if you say something stupid. Even without that, one way or another, someone is going to fuck with you and when it happens, don't take it seriously because then people will keep fucking with you. Banter back, have fun, shoot shit, be witty- just don't get mad on the Internet or else you might become the subject of a halal thread and you don't want that.
4 - Go back to Reddit
Ratings are not serious business, they're just stickers. If you get mad over stickers, don't stick around. If you up and start posting in Forum Discussion about them, don't expect sympathy.
5 - Go back to /pol/
Articles & News and Happenings are not your podium to start ranting about the jews or preach about race realism or something. You look stupid and are stupid if you sign up and go straight to doing that. There are people of all politics, races, and religions on this forum and all of them will look at you and fuck with you.
6 - No one is your friend
A forum known for what it is, don't come here expecting to make friends IRL. If you do, be very guarded unless you're insane and think nothing bad will come of being open about yourself. That's a one way ticket to a halal thread.
7 - OpSec you idiots
Do not use your common username. Do not use your common password. Do not leave in-depth details about your life, no one cares and it will be used to look into who you really are. Be vague about yourself and your area if you need to describe something.
8 - Archive everything
Archive everything, or else Josh will come to your house at night, steal all your tendies and vodka, shit on your couch, and slash your car's tires. It's not hard, use archive.md for most and you can host videos on here if you have that instead.
9 - Chat isn't Discord
The Chat is the fastest way to earn a ban if you screw around there, keep this in mind. If you want to go for the 0% ban speedrun, there's no better way.
10 - Talk to Staff
If you have an actual legitimate problem, use the Talk to Staff part of the forum to get something resolved. Or don't and act out because things aren't going your way. Either way, staff will come; just for different reasons.
11 - Learn to read
There are forum guidelines in every sub-forum and the bottom of most pages, read them and adhere to them like the gospel.
12 - Don't Necro
Self-explanatory but don't just necro a random thread for no real reason unless you have info pertaining to that thread.
