So now that Deagle Nation has sadly ended I thought I'd share some of the work I was doing for the Disabled DJ project that Jan had proposed here. I know there were more people involved which I never got the chance to talk to so if any of you guys want to dump stuff here feel free to do so.

There's quite a bit to get through with additional notes about each track so I've contained everything in the spoiler below to avoid cluttering the thread.

For people interested all of the scratches were made by cutting up audio from the livestreams / additional videos and then dragging them into Cross DJ being controlled by a MIDI controller. Anyone who's into turntablism immediately would notice this already but I can't scratch for shit so they were all edited from longer, less cohesive scratches to make them sound more "real".

Bonus points to you if you recognise where the main sample comes from.

https://soundcloud.com/https%3A%2F%2Fsoundcloud.com%2Fvexgod%2Fstreet-stryker-ii-the-world-warrior This track was meant to be somewhat of a rip-off of the John Cena Theme, which whilst looking for horn samples came across this brass ensemble cover of "Killing In The Name Of" by Rage Against The Machine. For me this fitted perfectly to emphasise the juxtaposition between Jace's fetishism of the military and his complete contempt for authority, but that was me probably thinking too deeply into it and since I never heard back from Jan about this one he probably thought the idea was gay.

https://soundcloud.com/https%3A%2F%2Fsoundcloud.com%2Fvexgod%2Fdj-eli-da-footwurk-genious My personal favourite, this was meant to take the piss out of footwork / juke (here's an example) which is a genre I unironically love but whenever playing it to friends would always make similar comments that it sounded like a kid stoned out of his mind whilst fucking with an MPC, which summarises perfectly what I imagine Eli to make music like. It also gave me an excuse to mix Eli talking to his mom with this.

https://soundcloud.com/https%3A%2F%2Fsoundcloud.com%2Fvexgod%2Fgamergate-souljah-unfinished So I never got round to finishing this but the idea was that I was going to record some verses in the vocal style of LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" with ridiculously over the top disses towards prominent people in the GamerGate shitstorm, both to show how pro-GG are autistic enough to get mad over criticism of video games and also to stir shit against anti-GG with the assumption they would take threats which were ridiculously absurd seriously.

It ended up sounding like a Skrillex demo which Deagle Nation would be proud of.

Lastly thought i would also include this, which was originally made for this project along with a collection of other samples I made for Jan to fuck around with. If anyone wants to use any of this stuff for any reason go for it; better this awful music gets put to use.
