If you were ever wondering what a textbook edgelord faggot looks like in OP form, look no further. pls don't embarrass yourself like this further.
This one always makes 8chan go really quiet as they think everything is a fucking honeypot.

A troll spreads disinformation.
An agent collects information.

They both will gauge you and post bait, but their end goals are different. That's really it.

A provocation agent is a troll for pay, though. Someone can both spread disinformation and collect information. In fact, someone can deliberately post provocative material to get people to "correct the record" and inadvertently give away information. Or just to disrupt a hostile forum.

I used to shitpost on /pol/ with shit to deliberately look JIDF because you'd get a whole thread of morons calling you that.

I actually stopped during the Trump campaign largely because there were actual pretty obvious CTR trolls there fucking shit up and while it was amusing to fuck with /pol/ like that, I wasn't going to help the Shillary campaign with their bullshit unless they were going to pay me or some shit.

The fact is that agents are overrated on the chans and political fora in general. They exist but their effect is vastly overrated. Homegrown shitposters cause more havoc than those idiots paid by other idiots to act like idiots on a board full of idiots.

You must get paid per post to afford such a fancy wheelchair.

I believe it's far more effective for subversives to spread disinformation on Reddit or Facebook. The conservatives on both communities contain a strong resent for the intellectual and educated democrats, and they enjoy any information which further embarrasses them even if untrue.
