Sort of? It has a G-tube or something on the stomach. Presumably so otherwise normal kids can feel better (or not) with a "Just like me" doll, but on Luna it's a waste. You can see it frequently stuffed in Luna’s claw so mommy can pretend Luna has a favorite doll.
I think it might have something in the back to indicate the shunt too, actually, so it might be a customized doll.

I don’t know what to really think anymore...... the whole time he was pushing in her head in multiple places, she made this face and almost closed her eyes the entire time and then opened them back up to normal Luna surprised eyes as soon as he was done with her head. Did... that hurt her??? Like actually? But she had no actual response to it?

Can't wait to see her drag Luna to that wedding. I had to hover over the pictures to even find out what kind of disability these even were, the only obvious ones were the short arm and generic bandages. I dunno, maybe some kids love these things? I personally wouldn't have wanted a doll with an asthma inhaler accessory. I skimmed through the comments, it looks like most people buy the regular non-disabled dolls.
I found a picture of it upside down and it does have a shunt. Had to go way back to find one with the G-tube though.

They can be good for kids that are looking for a doll that represents them. American Doll actually sells customized acessories and dolls for handicapped children and there used to be a pretty big place selling dolls with down syndrome. They can also be helpful in preparing a child for a surgery that is life changing ostomy dolls are used in this way sometimes to show the child what to expect and help teach them some care areas ahead of time.

Yeah, not that this thread was ever fun, but it is not enjoyable watching this creature suffer helplessly. With other shitbag parent threads, there was always a small injection of hope that CPS would save the kids or some other ‘tistic rainbow dream, but there’s none of that here.
Watching her slow, one arm seizures increase as she was being adjusted just blew my mind. How did the chiro think it was good to keep going when he was obviously triggering a higher quantity of more intense seizing? Messing with her fontanelles blew my mind, whatever she is capable of feeling was obviously uncomfortable. Goddamn I need a drink.

It's probably a shunt revision since her shunt is obviously not working.
This is probably part of the issue Robyn is bitching about. She really is stupid enough to think if you can just drain that big old head more things will be fine. She thinks of Luna’s head like a giant pimple that just needs drained.
Smart surgeon, he knows Luna will never “get bigger” but it’s a good way to shut Robyn up without her throwing a hissy fit. I still think she will just go to CA to try and find someone there to do it
Her shunt probably is working but the issue is it can only drain one cyst/region and Luna’s entire brain is filled with them. If it drains one or keeps it draining it just means more room for the other non-shunted areas to grow bigger. It’s the main reason they never wanted to do a shunt because it’s pointless with Luna. It’s like trying to bail out a row boat with 15 leaks with one tint bucket.
