If by "bad wiring" you mean one of PG&E's high voltage towers that fell the fuck down, then yes. The average age of PG&E towers is 63 years old and designed life cycle is 60 years.is that the one PPE started with their shitty wiring?
Depends entirely on the weather. Massive fire growth requires 10-15% relative humidity and high winds. So what the chances of another large and wide spread fire happening after this one burns out?
How?! It's the AIR. Do the peeohsees live in a bowl within the city itself, like Denver?"air quality is always more problematic in these areas"
Air bad, "communities of color" most affected.

100%. Our fire season is only half through right now.So what the chances of another large and wide spread fire happening after this one burns out?
" The current rate of extinction of species is estimated at 100 to 1,000 times higher than natural background rates "It is happening again. The Anthropocene Extinction Event is just beginning.
You know you lived in the PNW when just a wiff of fire smoke will make you look out the window and check the local fire department's twitter. If you haven't lived here long enough to have fire PTSD, and to see dozens of kids with fireworks and schizos with gas cans get arrested for it, you haven't really lived here. (the northwest)

Almost happened to me once when the apartment behind mine a few years ago caught fire. I woke up to my apartment flooded with smoke and thankfully managed to open my door and get outside about a minute before the fire department was about to bash it open. Smoke alarm didn't even go off for some reason. Shit is indeed scary when there is even a chance of it happening, can't imagine how bad it would be when it's actively happening. This is all so sad. I can't imagine losing your home to a fire
I live in British Columbia; it's fire season here as well but we're not burning to the fucking ground like the states below us. I saw the sun for the first time in days today because of the hundreds of fires in Washington State. Contrast that with a handful of contained fires in a much larger area up here and I'd say there's definitely something suspicious about the amount of fires down there. We also have the same kind of idiots scaling back our forestry management and logging that the rest of the coast suffer from.
What we don't have is a bunch of unhinged anarchists laying waste to our cities. Might be a coincidence - might not be.
You sure about that?. We also have the same kind of idiots scaling back our forestry management and logging that the rest of the coast suffer from.
Because you maple sucking fucks don't have your entire media industry dedicated to destroying your own country, because well your mediascum are BUSY dedicated to destroying OUR country instead
(disavow whatever site this is, they just had the mention about it being a canadian org organizing a us protest, the other was subscription)
Y'lx and the other euro bitches lump all the worlds troubles on the usa's back since bush (can't personally verify that behavior about Reagan-ect because I don't have that first-hand, BUT was obvious even as a lefty at the time of bush)
We don't even know your PMs outside of us politi-spergs on places like here, you have no idea the luxury of which you partake as you have never known it's absence: your politics are your own to worry about, besides immigration and tariff malarkey everyone has always been plagued with, your concerns are you, yours, and your neighbors.
Meanwhile we have to deal with our problems while the rest of the world throws rocks at our windows as we are trying to put out a fire and sign a divorce at the same time.
The benefit to them is that it distracts your media from local scandals and have less viciously over-reported on elections so unlike us you don't have to go through destructive and finantially-destructive civil unrest every minor change of the guard.
For countries that reportedly hate us, they sure do love to obsess over usBecause you maple sucking fucks don't have your entire media industry dedicated to destroying your own country, because well your mediascum are BUSY dedicated to destroying OUR country instead

*jerking off motion*
95% crown land, 5% private. How much of your land is private company owned, and how much is public management?
Is it an order of magnitude worse, just over the border? You'd figure that the effect of latitude would cause a tapering off over a larger area, not a drop to nearly zero over the space of a hundred or so miles. It's also a matter of latitude. California has it a lot worse than Washington, too.
Here's a pair of fun pics just for the thread. You sure about that?
How much of your land is private company owned, and how much is public management?
Our BLM land here is puny in comparison. Clear-cuts aren't management, but it's how the privately owned areas are doing it.
It's also a matter of latitude. California has it a lot worse than Washington, too.
So you can blame Orange Man because he supposedly has dictatorial control over everything the Feds do, and not being on board with the Green New Deal means that everyone in his admin is completely ignorant of anything ecology-related?I live in British Columbia; it's fire season here as well but we're not burning to the fucking ground like the states below us. Eta: firemaps for BC and Washington/Oregon respectively.
In the country they'd already know because their fire pager went off.You know you lived in the PNW when just a wiff of fire smoke will make you look out the window and check the local fire department's twitter.
