Fantasy Soft Entertainment was a Christian-themed company purportedly developing a dozen different properties across several different mediums. While their catalog only consisted of a single comic book and a couple light novels, they were promising bigger and better things. Three animated series, two feature films, two video games, and their own streaming service.

In February 2019, they gained a following when they made a tweet stating that Vic Mignogna would always have a home at Fantasy Soft Entertainment. This was in direct contrast to FUNimation and Rooster Teeth, who had publicly cut ties with him. Their message of support was liked and shared by Vic's fans.

Unbeknownst to most at the time, Fantasy Soft Entertainment wasn't what it appeared to be. They weren't a small business on the cusp of doing big things. In reality, Fantasy Soft was a mirage created by Kenneth Bright Jr. (aka L.B. Jr.). Their so-called President and CEO was a broke 34-year-old furry that lived with his mom. He had no money, no studio, no employees, and most importantly, no Vic Mignogna. The projects he claimed to be developing were mostly just concept art, character sketches, and IMDB entries. Over the course of 2019 and into 2020, he used an assumed association with Vic to propel the public's perception of Fantasy Soft and generate income for himself.
(Kenneth driving his mother's car)
A week after his tweet went viral, he attempted to parlay that attention into cash. He announced an $800,000 crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to animate the first episode of Prince Adventures, which Vic supposedly had a starring role in.

This was Kenneth's 9th attempt at crowdfunding Prince Adventures. The first came in 2011, which is when Vic recorded a few lines to get his project off the ground. In total, he asked for over $1.4 million dollars in those 9 crowdfunding campaigns. All failed, save for one. In 2013, he collected $3,230 on an Indiegogo with flexible funding to create a Prince Adventures animated short, which was released in 2015. Vic's audio from 2011 was used in that.

When his $800,000 Indiegogo failed in May 2019, Kenneth directed his supporters to donate to his Patreon and PayPal, promising that Vic Mignogna would voice audiobooks, shoutouts, and personal messages, if he reached $500 a month in funding.
https://archive.vn/MwmKl
In June 2019, Kenneth announced Prince Adventures: Chronicles. News of this spin-off anime series was covered by Bounding Into Comics, who had also reported on his Indigogo campaign. In the promo that was released, Vic Mignogna supposedly teased his character, Prince Nai. This was the same audio clip that had been used in the very first Prince Adventures Kickstarter in 2011.

If you're wondering what the backstory to Prince Adventures is, imagine the book of Genesis, but the forbidden fruit is furries. God's one rule was don't fuck the animals and snake-satan lead everyone into temptation.
Also in June, he announced that he was officially licensing cartoons, anime and movies to stream on Potarii, a new streaming platform created by Fantasy Soft that was coming soon. He asked fans to financially support his new endeavor.

In July 2019, Bounding Into Comics covered Fantasy Soft Entertainment's announcement that they had lost a big donor because of their support for Vic. Kenneth warned that if people didn't give him more money, he would be shutting down Fantasy Soft at the end of the year. Fans gave words of encouragement, signal boosted his message, and opened their wallets.

Less than a month after the major announcement that Fantasy Soft Entertainment desperately needed donations, Kenneth got a Samsung Galaxy S9+ 64GB cell phone, which retailed for around $500-$600 dollars at the time.

Also in August, Kenneth announced that he found a plush manufacturer and Vic's character from Prince Adventures was to be the first made. He advertised that Vic could sign them when they were available for purchase. The cost was to be $195 each. The plush idea was reconsidered and dropped a week later. He simply didn't have that kind of money.

Toward the end of 2019 and into 2020, Kenneth's unwavering confidence in himself on social media and his association with Vic Mignogna had convinced a lot of people that he was someone important. He joked about acquiring the license to Dragon Ball and other Toei properties. This was yet another example in a long line of overstated accomplishments and exaggerated self-promotions.
https://archive.vn/nfbL6
He solicited aspiring voice actors to submit their resume and demo to him. He did a casting call for a Prince Adventures character.
A cosplayer by the name of Gothic Sushi was nervously excited at the prospect of being cast in one of his shows. She invited him to her convention, Savannah Animazing, as a special guest. A month later, he announced that Fantasy Soft was sponsoring the event and asked for donations to cover the costs of prints, banners, etc, etc.
https://archive.vn/vpXYp / https://archive.vn/pHHuj
The artwork and the announcements made the Prince Adventures show look real, and then it was made even more official looking when it was reported on in articles and YouTube videos. Kenneth's house of cards eventually collapsed in April 2020 following an announcement that the Prince Adventures anime starring Vic Mignogna would be produced in Japan. It was the straw that broke the camel's back. A person associated with Vic (@spirit of e m o s h) became suspicious and decided to look into Fantasy Soft.

Kenneth was asked some very simple questions about Vic's involvement in his supposed series. He mostly made excuses then admitted it had been 5 years since Vic did voice over work for Fantasy Soft. During this discussion, Kenneth abruptly announced that Fantasy Soft might be closing soon because he didn't want to be accused of taking advantage of people and stealing money.
https://archive.vn/zc4GM
After his $800,000 Indiegogo for Prince Adventures failed, he promoted his Patreon and went from 1 donor to over 30. From May 2019 - April 2020, he made about $1708. He also received an unknown amount of money via PayPal and BitCoin. It should be noted that there was a Prince Adventures comic and a couple of light novels, so it wasn't a complete scam.

Kenneth deleted his announcement that Fantasy Soft might be closing a few hours after making it, and returned to his business as usual attitude by repeating the same announcements he had made years earlier.

He posted several videos laughing at the accusation that he was a con artist.
He ended up deleting all that and was more contrite the next day. He confirmed that there was no Prince Adventures show.
On April 9th, 2020, an artist going by the name @goddesskotou on Twitter revealed that she also had been duped by Kenneth. He contacted her in January 2020 asking if she wanted to draw his Prince Adventures short comics. She was excited because she thought he was doing big things and was working with Vic. He could only pay her $25, which she agreed to because she was under the assumption that Fantasy Soft was paying several employees out of their Patreon. She believed that the more money the Patreon took in, the more she would get.
Kenneth said he had to delay his payment of $25 because of unexpected bills at the Savannah Animazing convention he attended and "sponsored". He eventually sent her the money and asked her to draw an erotic pinup of Prince Nai, which was to be Vic's character. The cost to commission her to ink and color something like that would normally be $80, but she agreed to do it for a t-shirt, which he never sent.
On April 13th, 2020, Kenneth tweeted that he just acquired some very disturbing information, which he may or may not release. He said he just wanted to move on.

Back in September, Marissa Lenti, a voice actor, tweeted that she had "booked" Prince Adventures 4-5 years ago and nothing ever got recorded. Jason Douglas, another voice actor, said he had a similar experience with Kenneth.

Vic addressed Fantasy Soft later that day in his weekly live stream.
Over the last day or two, I have received a lot of questions about Fantasy Soft and Prince Adventures. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of that. I'm going to tell you the story straight from my mouth so there will be no mistaking anything that's going on and here is the story.
6 or 7 years ago, I was approached by a young man who said that he was trying to put together an anime, a faith-based anime series, so you can imagine that immediately made me go ooh. He sent me the artwork, I mean I get requests for stuff like that all the time, all varying degrees of quality, but he sent me some of the artwork and the artwork was really impressive. It was very, very cool character sketches. So I told him that if he ever ended up making it that I would be very happy to talk to him about being a part of it.
Well, that was 6 or 7 years ago, and he has not been able to get anything done yet, and a lot of people have been asking me about this and I want you to hear it from my mouth. I told him that I do not want my name used to raise money. I do not want my name used to promote something that does not yet exist, if you know what I mean. And I made that very clear to him and I wanted to make it clear with you guys. This is a project that I don't really know anything about. I recorded a couple of lines for him 6 years ago just to help him get it going and then nothing has happened since. Several other voice actors have kind of come into the project and then left the project. I don't know what going's on with it. I wish him the best.
I applaud anybody who wants to accomplish something. I admire people who have an idea, a creative idea, and they work hard to accomplish it and execute that idea. It's not easy. Believe me, as somebody who made Star Trek: Continues. It is not easy to come up with an idea and then actually do the idea, but I told him that I don't want him using my name to promote this project, which has been in limbo for almost 7 years now and certainly don't want any of you giving money to anything just because my name is attached to it, so I wanted to clarify that with you guys. I wish him no ill. I wish him all the best. I hope he's able to make it someday, but I don't want my name used to get money from people or anything like that.
Somebody just wrote, "Where can we find it when it's done?" Well, it hasn't even been started yet, that's the problem. It's a cool idea, but I don't know really anything about the details of it. I don't really know what the story even is. I mean, it might even be something that I ultimately wouldn't feel good about being apart of, but I don't know that yet because I know nothing, but a lot of people have been writing me and sending me screen captures where, "Oh, you're doing this thing with Fantasy Soft."
Well, Fantasy Soft is this gentleman and I wish him nothing but the best, but it's been 6 or 7 years and it hasn't gotten off the ground because putting stuff like this together is not always as easy as some people think it is. So I just wanted to get that out there, straight from my own mouth so there isn't anymore conjecture about, "Oh, is Vic involved with this? Does Vic know about this? Does Vic condone this?"
I don't condone anybody trying to raise money on my name and I certainly don't want anyone to feel taken advantage of because they invested in something that just hasn't come to pass. I know very, very little about it, but I wish no one any ill will. I just want the best for all of you. So, that's that.
