Let us, for a moment, direct the Eye of Sauron onto a new ringbearer.

The Great Reset as an ideology got, as far as I can tell, its start innocently enough as a book published in 2010 in light of the 2008 recession, written by Richard Florida. Richard is an urban studies theorist, head and professor of Martin Prosperity Institute Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and distinguished fellow at NYU's school of professional studies. Richard Florida is known most of all for coining the term "creative class" and purporting an Atlas Shrugged narrative of talent migration from suburbs to major cities. He places an emphasis on focusing time on fostering talent rather than projects like sports stadiums, monuments or other city developments as the means to rebound a flailing economy, and he even came up with weird indexes that rate cities by a "Bohemian index," a "Gay index," and a "diversity index".

As you can probably guess, back when cancel culture wasn't as prevalent as it is now, Richard's theories came under scrutiny and criticism. Such criticism cites his theories to be massively political in nature and having no practical value, and noting that education quality is a better metric for determining lasting economic recovery.

The Great Reset is an accelerationist ideology that purports economic collapses to be the central driving force behind innovation, and that major cities, government districts and college towns will prosper in light of an economic collapse due to their attraction of the creative class, whereas industrial towns will die off. Richard also purports that because of this, most of the innovative developments will occur in big cities due to their scale economies. It's in part 3 of Richard's book that a key detail is revealed, where he alleges that Millennials dislike owning private property and would rather pay for experiences & social activities. Hmmm...

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea if Richard Florida's writings have any influence on the World Economic Forum or if the "Great Reset" namesake is some enormous coincidence, but I have doubts.

The World Economic Forum is an international non-government organization founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab in Cologny, Geneva Canton, Switzerland. The WEF's mission statement is "committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas". They've been criticized as being a shady cabal of wealthy elites coming together and passing information under the table for political gain, so much so it spawned the term "Davos Men", named for their annual meeting place in Davos Switzerland, a term coined to describe billionaires who have no loyalty to any nation and view borders as obstacles to further wealth consolidation.

Schwab seemed to have originally intended the World Economic Forum to become a vector for streamlining economic solutions and introducing American management practices to European manufacturers, but then the Bretton Woods exchange rate collapsed in 1973 and because of that the WEF also became focused on social issues and began inviting politicians, a move I'm sure no one will regret in the indeterminant future. The immediate outcomes was the aversion of a war, bribing the CEO and director of the WEF for $900,000 and somebody passing around "Boycott Israel" pamphlets during one of the meetings.

Even better is that Xi Jingping showed up to defend globalism, followed by portraying China as a leader in environmentalism. Yes, the king of smog came out and called himself an environmentalist. Naturally, Xi Jinping also criticized populism and tariffs because it fucked his bottom line and plans for world domination. Then Jair Bolsonaro, Brazilian president, came out to defend Brazil's treatment of the rain forest, calling his administration a protector of it and basically pulling a Xi Jingping. Basically, the WEF is the place where politicians go to vocally protect their interests.

It should also be noted that the WEF have declared US civil liberties to be obsolete forms of governance, noting China's digital totalitarianism as an example, and have praised China for their bungling of the Covid-19 during the early months of 2020, y'know, where they welded people into their apartments, shuffled people into gas vans, disappeared people in "quarantine zones", packed sick people like sardines into non-hospitals and potentially committed a holocaust against their own civilians and burned the bodies in a giant pile.

Then of course there's the Great Reset project announced late this year by the WEF and the Prince of Wales' Sustainable Markets Initiative. This is the shit we're concerned with, and the origin for the slogan "You will own nothing, and you will be happy." Apparently the Great Reset will be the topic of discussion in January 2021.

The general gist of the Great Reset seems to just be Accelerationist Globalist Socialism, where people forego personal belongings for experiences. I don't even get how these things are mutually exclusive but it disgusts me all the same. It appears that this shit has actually been a long time coming, where it truly started is anyone's guess, but if I were to put on a tinfoil hat, I'd say that Covid-19 was engineered in a lab, "accidentally" released, then passed off as a natural disease and use it as an excuse to artificially crash the economy for the sole purpose of artificially creating yet another Great Reset like that of 1870 to force people into signing away all of their civil liberties for debt forgiveness at which point they can implement a pure-experience "economy" where everything is rented. The catch and release policies of George Floyd riots by democrat governors is probably just one part of pressing the gas pedal to this massive dystopia.

There is no "Fourth industrial revolution" there is only "The industrial revolution" and we're still in it right now. Its an ongoing thing like the renaissance and will end with the replacement of most/all forms of human work.

The idea that the economy of the future will continue to depend on human labor as has been the case up to this point is just laughable. Its so fucking backward and indicative that the people in the big club up top arent ready to relinquish the status quo even though its evaporating out of their hands.

I have to say, I’ve heard this claim before and always been really skeptical of it because many actual millennials seem fairly bitter over the fact that college debt and the post-2008 economy left them with less purchasing power than they believed their parents had. The main reason a lot of younger people are renting things and avoiding making large purchases isn’t necessarily because they want to, but because they don’t think they can afford otherwise, as it wasn’t uncommon for them to enter adulthood with tens of thousands in debt right off the bat.

Personally, this is my theory as to why so many of them are pro-socialism, as they misguidedly believe it will ease their debt and make large expenses like healthcare “free”. They aren’t really thinking much beyond that. Doesn’t help that Canadians and Brits online brag about their “free” healthcare all the time. Why do you think so many young people supported Bernie Sanders? He touted the ideas of free college and forgiving all college debt.

Super elites also tend to overestimate their own intelligence.

Just watch Zuck's Senate hearing, or the more recent Big Tech triple feature. The Zodiac Killer claimed another victim that day, him slaying Dorsey was cathartic.
There's also Elder Lich George Soros who repeatedly tried and failed to establish himself as a serious social "scientist" and all the other genius investors who love selling "exclusive" breakfast/brunch opportunities.

And the 1%-ers who convene in Davos every year to solve the World's Problems with their galaxy brains, only to achieve practically nothing of their lofty goals. Well, aside from getting even richer, obviously.

They misguidedly think of socialism as Panacea because they never ever experienced actual socialism or its effects. The socio-economic systems they envy so much are more like social democracy, which still encourages self-responsibility with an added safety net. And free healthcare isn't perfect either. The NHS, for example, could work so well because they had nurses and doctors from all over the EU. Post-brexit, not so much.
There's also the issue of the NHS funding retarded shit like "sex/gender change" procedures, and I don't think many bongs like their tax pounds being spent on chopping children's dicks or tits off. Same goes for Canada and Sweden I expect.

IIRC there were some €5 billion spent on dental care for "refugees" in Germany in 2017 alone. Again, taxpayer-funded health and dental care for illegal immigrants.

Dollar has lost 98% of its purchasing power since the FED system (Fiat has never worked long term) was put in place to destroy the middle class. This "reset" is nothing more than the final stages of a long, long wealth transfer game. America is the used up whore, China is the new hotness. The reset will essentially be the Banker Tribe and their Tech Monopolies consolidating power, moving their major projects to their "new America", and forcing the globe onto an unbacked debt-based digital system for total control. China's social credit score system is the blue-print for the future they want, Google has their own version ready to go. The only real money, used for thousands of years, Gold and Silver - were hoarded by the Levant Tribe, for over 100 years as they weaned the World onto WORTHLESS PAPER. China and Judecca play the longest games of all.

Is that your summation or Richard Florida's? Because my recollection was that it was the engineers / creatives / entrepreneurs fleeing not so much from any particular geographic culture so much as from one where a parasitic and entitled society that was growing increasingly demanding on them. I can't reconcile a desire not to be paid with Ayn Rand's novel.

All they keep doing is changing the name, i.e. agenda21/30, etc. and updating the information to include new technology, that no one but them will able to to use.

We are seeing the creeping acceptance by the wider community all the time, in articles posted in A&N. Isn't the acceptance of 'thou who must be obeyed' and we can't do anything about it, enough to see that there are definitely things afoot, and actually being played out?

This new 'lifestyle' has been planted in a plethora of young adult 'novels' over the last 10 years at least, these readers, especially female readers completely accept that 'not communism' is the only way of the future, it doesn't matter how many people are killed in those books, or what hardships are portrayed, they always start out with absolute communism, and end with 'not communism/communism only if you want it'.

Many years ago, I used to debate people about this sort of thing all the time. I went onto boards full of liberal centrists who were generally pro-capitalism, and I proposed techno-socialist ideas that were pretty much exactly like what the WEF are proposing.
  • Abolish paper money.
  • Replace private property with communal property.
  • End private car ownership and replace it with public transportation and people basically Ubering a shared pool of driverless electric cars, since it’s a tremendous waste of raw materials to produce millions of cars only for them to sit on driveways unused most of the day.
  • Put an end to conventional farming and rural life and replace it with vertical farming in the cities.
  • End the commute and replace it with telecommuting.
  • Get rid of office buildings (and all the intervening services people visit during their now-obsolete commutes) and replace them with more residential buildings to drive down the cost of housing.
  • Aim generally for degrowth.
  • Get rid of planned obsolescence and the throw-away economy and manufacture only durable, long-lasting goods.
  • Move manufacturing closer to where products are actually used; eliminate the long transportation distances of finished goods by way of freight; each city should be an autarky in itself, capable of producing everything people need in it, hence an arcology.
  • Minimal transportation means raw materials must be procured locally and finished goods must be manufactured locally. Bio-feedstock from vertical farms would be used for plastic goods instead of petroleum, making for a readily available supply of recyclable materials for solid items.
  • Automate away most manual labor. Use the time and energy freed up to allow people to contribute to society and culture in communal Makerspaces.
  • Institute a circular economy. Nothing is wasted. Nothing ends up in a landfill. Nothing non-recyclable is manufactured. Everything is reused, recycled, and upcycled.
These ideas are not new. The so-called Technocracy Movement imagined a world much like this, many decades ago, and I drew upon them for inspiration.

70C68551-C2D9-495D-B173-F65E6367254A.png

The Technocracy Movement believed that a society designed technologically, by experts, to command the economy and modify and guide human behavior, was more effective than systems of laws, fines, and other sorts of social and institutional coercion. Keep in mind that according to socialist tenets, the free market is essentially coercive by nature; refusal to participate means homelessness and destitution, and that, in turn, is considered intolerable coercion. An ideal system would basically provide for all human material needs automatically without people thinking too much about it or expending much effort (a post-scarcity system; think Culture or Star Trek).

The Technocracy Movement drew many of their ideas from Thorstein Veblen (particularly his work The Engineers and the Price System), who was a turn-of-the-last-century economic critic who argued that wealthy people consume ostentatiously just to demonstrate their wealth to other wealthy people, that industrialists actually sabotaged the efficiency of manufacturing by intentionally reducing production to keep products from becoming essentially free, that goods were designed with planned obsolescence and endless consumption in mind, and that money and debt were totally meaningless. Think Karl Marx, but straight to the point instead of all the dense philosophical meandering in Das Kapital.

There are also shades of these ideas in Jacque Fresco’s Venus Project and his idea of a Resource-Based Economy. He proposed the total abolition of money, the free market, and exchange, and treating resources and consumer goods like a utility. He also proposed the creation of “Circular Cities” (giant, EPCOT Center-like planned communities), for some reason, which would somehow solve all the problems of a normal square-grid city. To control his system, he advocated a form of governance he called Sociocyberneering, which basically involved the computerized mapping of human behavior to predict people’s needs (there are some shades of Project Cybersyn in all of it, but one can indeed see real-world parallels in the algorithms that are used to predict people’s viewing habits on YouTube and Netflix). For a while, his views were espoused by the Zeitgeist Movement.

A Resource-Based Economy is a system in which all goods and services are available without the use of any system of debt or servitude like money, credits or barter. All resources become the common heritage of all people[1], not just a select few. The premise upon which this system is based is that the Earth is abundant with plentiful resource; our practice of rationing resources[2] through monetary methods[3] is irrelevant and counter productive to our survival.

Money is only important in a society when certain resources for survival must be rationed and the people accept money as an exchange medium for the scarce resources.[4] Money[5] is a social convention, an agreement if you will. It is neither a natural resource nor does it represent one. It is not necessary for survival unless we have been conditioned to accept it as such.

People hated it. They thought it sounded completely inhuman, even immoral and nihilistic. Well, surprise surprise. This is apparently what the Elites had in mind for us all along, almost right down to the letter. Only, instead of it being a free and equitable system, it’s actually yet another Bolshevik scam to deprive people of their property so that the Party may have right of dispensation over it.

These ideas have the support of the most brutal and despicable totalitarians. I now see that far from being the utopia I imagined it might be, this is a monstrous evil that must be fought against. It is inhuman. Nobody likes this, nobody wants it, and it must be vehemently opposed. I suppose the best I can do now is warn people about what the powers-that-be are trying to do. I’m well-acquainted with their theories, and I know exactly how they could be misused to create a nightmare dystopia that will make the Holodomor look like fucking Disneyland.

Will these people or others like them succeed in their hare-brained schemes? Probably not, but as far as I'm concerned, they've gotten away with far too much given what little power and influence they actually have. This "lockdown" they've wanted should have ended months ago especially in the US once we learned that the Left would excuse rioting and looting all the while punishing people from attending church.

This image captures a great deal of what I hate about these ideas. The third picture is presented as desirable but what they've done is removed the option of disobedience by planning how to make it impossible. A similar example are those benches with an unnecessary extra arm rest right in the middle so that nobody can stretch out on one, bus stops with no seats to prevent kids hanging out there, fences where instead of the wooden timber being level, it's rotated so a sharp edge is pointed up so that nobody can sit on it. There all solutions that make things worse for intended purpose not better (else we would have designed it that way in the first place), but they subtly coerce people into behaving in the desired way. In the image above, the tram gets bigger in every picture but there's no guarantee it does - that's the propaganda side of it. Once the platform is replaced with retracting steps they have achieved their goal and the option of non-compliance is removed.

The new learning is that better than forbidding people to do something, is to remove the capacity to do so. I loathe it. So do others. But the cost to a society of people frustrated and cheated of any agency, doesn't show up on their visionary paintings.

Back to the economic aspects of these plans, what I do know is that very rarely in history have the ruling classes been overthrown by the working classes. The common case is for the ruling classes to be either supplanted by the Middle Classes if peaceful; or overthrown by the Middle Classes working with the Working Classes. It's why the Establishment comes down ultra-hard on what was known in the early EDL years as "suits and boots". The BNP (British Nationalist Party) they didn't give a shit about because it was a bunch of thugs. The State nearly always wins in Force vs. Force. But early EDL had Middle Class and Working Class finding common ground and working together and you saw a massive media and police response to that. Anyway, to summarize. the goal of the elites behind this has to be to neuter or eliminate the Middle Class. What's changed, to answer someone else's earlier question, is that they think they can now do so whilst retaining their lifestyle. The global elites already have what they want. Their goal now is to stop anyone else getting it.

That sort of thing can be so insidious, affecting things from industrial design and traffic engineering, to web design and big data. Think about how paper towel dispensers have changed in the past decade. They used to have a lever. Now, you grab the towel itself and pull, with the lever as a backup in case it gets jammed. This seems more hygienic than touching a lever, but what it really does is it forces you to save paper by making the motion more arduous and the count of each sheet pulled more obvious. If you had the lever, you would effortlessly crank out several sheets and use maybe half of it. They want to design everything in society like this. Behavioral alteration by means of subtle engineering changes.

Archbishop Writes Open Letter to Your Favorite President Warning of “Great Reset” Globalist Plot

Andrew Anglin November 1, 2020

download-2020-11-01T101649.559.jpeg

People have been asking me to write something long about the “Great Reset” as presented by the World Economic Forum. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do, but it’s so much work. I can’t just quote their texts, because they’re so opaque, so I have to go through and summarize all of these long pieces. It’s just a lot of work, and not particularly fun work.
download-2020-11-01T101820.995.jpeg

Basically, the Great Reset isn’t so much a plan in itself as it is a description of other plans that have already been put into action. It’s the thing I’ve been describing all these months since the coronavirus conspiracy began: they want to strip you of all your rights, create a global government, end private property, make you live in a pod and eat bugs while surviving on “UBI” credits that are awarded to a computer chip in your hand. The world government will be a public-private partnership between the UN and multinational corporations. These corporations will become feudal powers and they’ll basically own portions of the population that live in their pods, eat their bug paste and take their soma.
download-2020-11-01T101907.593.jpeg

The “Great Reset” is just explaining all that like it’s going to be great.

It is important, because they are literally saying they’re going to end private property and all the rest of it, but the article I’m working on about it keeps getting delayed for other things, because there are only so many hours in a day.

While I’m working on that, you can read the Good Bishop Viganò‘s open letter to Your Favorite President, which deals with this particular topic.

Follows Archbishop of Ulpiana Carlo Maria Viganò’s full letter to President Trump.

OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

DONALD J. TRUMP

Sunday, October 25, 2020

Solemnity of Christ the King

Mr. President,

Allow me to address you at this hour in which the fate of the whole world is being threatened by a global conspiracy against God and humanity. I write to you as an Archbishop, as a Successor of the Apostles, as the former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America. I am writing to you in the midst of the silence of both civil and religious authorities. May you accept these words of mine as the “voice of one crying out in the desert” (Jn 1:23).

As I said when I wrote my letter to you in June, this historical moment sees the forces of Evil aligned in a battle without quarter against the forces of Good; forces of Evil that appear powerful and organized as they oppose the children of Light, who are disoriented and disorganized, abandoned by their temporal and spiritual leaders.

Daily we sense the attacks multiplying of those who want to destroy the very basis of society: the natural family, respect for human life, love of country, freedom of education and business. We see heads of nations and religious leaders pandering to this suicide of Western culture and its Christian soul, while the fundamental rights of citizens and believers are denied in the name of a health emergency that is revealing itself more and more fully as instrumental to the establishment of an inhuman faceless tyranny.

A global plan called the Great Reset is underway. Its architect is a global élite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations. In several nations this plan has already been approved and financed; in others it is still in an early stage. Behind the world leaders who are the accomplices and executors of this infernal project, there are unscrupulous characters who finance the World Economic Forum and Event 201, promoting their agenda.

The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and cancelling individual debt. The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups. Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated.

Mr. President, I imagine that you are already aware that in some countries the Great Reset will be activated between the end of this year and the first trimester of 2021. For this purpose, further lockdowns are planned, which will be officially justified by a supposed second and third wave of the pandemic. You are well aware of the means that have been deployed to sow panic and legitimize draconian limitations on individual liberties, artfully provoking a world-wide economic crisis. In the intentions of its architects, this crisis will serve to make the recourse of nations to the Great Reset irreversible, thereby giving the final blow to a world whose existence and very memory they want to completely cancel. But this world, Mr. President, includes people, affections, institutions, faith, culture, traditions, and ideals: people and values that do not act like automatons, who do not obey like machines, because they are endowed with a soul and a heart, because they are tied together by a spiritual bond that draws its strength from above, from that God that our adversaries want to challenge, just as Lucifer did at the beginning of time with his “non serviam.”

Many people – as we well know – are annoyed by this reference to the clash between Good and Evil and the use of “apocalyptic” overtones, which according to them exasperates spirits and sharpens divisions. It is not surprising that the enemy is angered at being discovered just when he believes he has reached the citadel he seeks to conquer undisturbed. What is surprising, however, is that there is no one to sound the alarm. The reaction of the deep state to those who denounce its plan is broken and incoherent, but understandable. Just when the complicity of the mainstream media had succeeded in making the transition to the New World Order almost painless and unnoticed, all sorts of deceptions, scandals and crimes are coming to light.

Until a few months ago, it was easy to smear as “conspiracy theorists” those who denounced these terrible plans, which we now see being carried out down to the smallest detail. No one, up until last February, would ever have thought that, in all of our cities, citizens would be arrested simply for wanting to walk down the street, to breathe, to want to keep their business open, to want to go to church on Sunday. Yet now it is happening all over the world, even in picture-postcard Italy that many Americans consider to be a small enchanted country, with its ancient monuments, its churches, its charming cities, its characteristic villages. And while the politicians are barricaded inside their palaces promulgating decrees like Persian satraps, businesses are failing, shops are closing, and people are prevented from living, traveling, working, and praying. The disastrous psychological consequences of this operation are already being seen, beginning with the suicides of desperate entrepreneurs and of our children, segregated from friends and classmates, told to follow their classes while sitting at home alone in front of a computer.

In Sacred Scripture, Saint Paul speaks to us of “the one who opposes” the manifestation of the mystery of iniquity, the kathèkon (2 Thess 2:6-7). In the religious sphere, this obstacle to evil is the Church, and in particular the papacy; in the political sphere, it is those who impede the establishment of the New World Order.

As is now clear, the one who occupies the Chair of Peter has betrayed his role from the very beginning in order to defend and promote the globalist ideology, supporting the agenda of the deep church, who chose him from its ranks.

Mr. President, you have clearly stated that you want to defend the nation – One Nation under God, fundamental liberties, and non-negotiable values that are denied and fought against today. It is you, dear President, who are “the one who opposes” the deep state, the final assault of the children of darkness.

For this reason, it is necessary that all people of good will be persuaded of the epochal importance of the imminent election: not so much for the sake of this or that political program, but because of the general inspiration of your action that best embodies – in this particular historical context – that world, our world, which they want to cancel by means of the lockdown. Your adversary is also our adversary: it is the Enemy of the human race, He who is “a murderer from the beginning” (Jn 8:44).

Around you are gathered with faith and courage those who consider you the final garrison against the world dictatorship. The alternative is to vote for a person who is manipulated by the deep state, gravely compromised by scandals and corruption, who will do to the United States what Jorge Mario Bergoglio is doing to the Church, Prime Minister Conte to Italy, President Macron to France, Prime Minster Sanchez to Spain, and so on. The blackmailable nature of Joe Biden – just like that of the prelates of the Vatican’s “magic circle” – will expose him to be used unscrupulously, allowing illegitimate powers to interfere in both domestic politics as well as international balances. It is obvious that those who manipulate him already have someone worse than him ready, with whom they will replace him as soon as the opportunity arises.

And yet, in the midst of this bleak picture, this apparently unstoppable advance of the “Invisible Enemy,” an element of hope emerges. The adversary does not know how to love, and it does not understand that it is not enough to assure a universal income or to cancel mortgages in order to subjugate the masses and convince them to be branded like cattle. This people, which for too long has endured the abuses of a hateful and tyrannical power, is rediscovering that it has a soul; it is understanding that it is not willing to exchange its freedom for the homogenization and cancellation of its identity; it is beginning to understand the value of familial and social ties, of the bonds of faith and culture that unite honest people. This Great Reset is destined to fail because those who planned it do not understand that there are still people ready to take to the streets to defend their rights, to protect their loved ones, to give a future to their children and grandchildren. The leveling inhumanity of the globalist project will shatter miserably in the face of the firm and courageous opposition of the children of Light. The enemy has Satan on its side, He who only knows how to hate. But on our side, we have the Lord Almighty, the God of armies arrayed for battle, and the Most Holy Virgin, who will crush the head of the ancient Serpent. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom 8:31).

Mr. President, you are well aware that, in this crucial hour, the United States of America is considered the defending wall against which the war declared by the advocates of globalism has been unleashed. Place your trust in the Lord, strengthened by the words of the Apostle Paul: “I can do all things in Him who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13). To be an instrument of Divine Providence is a great responsibility, for which you will certainly receive all the graces of state that you need, since they are being fervently implored for you by the many people who support you with their prayers.

With this heavenly hope and the assurance of my prayer for you, for the First Lady, and for your collaborators, with all my heart I send you my blessing.

God bless the United States of America!

+ Carlo Maria Viganò

Tit. Archbishop of Ulpiana

Former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America
