The Anamorphs show on Snick probably encouraged a generation of furries.
all inclusive representation and blah blah...The only thing that was good about All That was Keenan and Kel. Other than that, the skits were hit or miss for me.
"OH BUT THERE'S BLACK PEOPLE IN THERE!"
Yeah, so fucking what?
this would explain the slime fetish nonsense...Yep. The thing about that show was the "green slime drop" gimmic was borrowed from that show once Nick started doing their own game shows in Orlando Florida (see Double Dare). and pretty much trademarked it as Nickelodeon Slime/Gak.
False. Josh, Danny and Loribeth were highlights. As was Amanda Bynes. The only thing that was good about All That was Keenan and Kel. Other than that, the skits were hit or miss for me.

Nickelodeon DID reboot All That, and it was ass (as usual)If Nickelodeon attempted to ressurect it I cannot imagine the pandering that would be there.
No. No it didn't. I tried to watch that show when I was a kid and it was just boring. Fight scenes were just a shakycam shot of a tiger running across a room. Conversations between a human and a morphed hawk may as well have been splicing together documentary footage. Morphing was pure body horror in the books, but in the show it was literally just a 90s grade photoshop effect. All that show awakened in the youth was an awareness of low budget filmmaking. The Anamorphs show on Snick probably encouraged a generation of furries.
You remember more about it than I do. I had a few of the books but it's been literal decades.No. No it didn't. I tried to watch that show when I was a kid and it was just boring. Yep. It wasn't good because it was diverse, it was just good. It happened to be diverse and that's not a bad thing but ranting about the diversity is over the top.It was a kid's version of SNL. It was pretty funny back in the day, but God damn, the author needs to calm their tits. It wasn't some groundbreaking high art that ushered in a complete paradigm shift.
I tried re-watching Pete & Pete fairly recentlyish, lets say in the past five years. Just could not hold my attention as an adult.I mean...it was SNL for kids. For that it was pretty cool and they got a pretty good group of kids to carry the show, but I don't look back on it as fondly as say Pete and Pete or the Nicktoons.
