The last Movie/tv show you watched is now a major AAA game - No cherry picking here

  • Intermittent Denial of Service attack is causing downtime. Looks like a kiddie 5 min rental. Waiting on a response from upstream.

I'm assuming you read the title and I'll only elaborate here. You can think up of some ways the game can play, what it's genre is you know that stuff. Also if the last thing you watch already has a major game adaptation like Spiderman for the ps4, or was originally a video game to begin with Like the Sonic anime. Think of the thing before that. Have fun with your imaginations!

Bad Santa. It'd be a stealth game where you'd have until Christmas Eve to figure out how to rob a mall, and you can switch between Willie and Marcus during the actual robbery. There's also branching dialogue trees with the other characters like Thurman and Lauren Graham, as well as the difficulty in trying to not to fuck up in front of the children while smashed.

For me it's the recent Netflix movie bird box, could be a Silent Hill successor or something like we happy few where it's just a indie game with a larger budget and major a console release

Last for me was National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Needs to be a Super NES sidescroller where shit unrelated to the movie happens, but you also have to drag your tree out, catch the squirrel, and as Cousin Eddie, abduct Clark's boss.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I have absolutely no idea how this would play out as a video game, the only thing that would seem even a little bit appropriate would be as a Telltale game.
It could be a Dr. Seuss-themed game of Thief.

South Park? It kinda already has been made into several games of varying quality, the top one being, of course, Chef's Love Shack on the Sega Dreamcast.

The Ron Howard/Jim Carrey version got a game (sans the voice or likeness of Jim Carrey).

Dark City. I could see it as some sort of Survival Horror game, a weird Heavy Rain QTE adventure, or even an action game if they went really off the rails and started overemphasizing tuning.

John dies at the end.
Probably a point-and-click based on the movie, i have no mouth and i must scream style.
It has potential, but since it's based off a movie, it depends on how much the developers care.

Well, I think the last thing I watched before South Park was Urusei Yatsura, specifically the Christmas episode, but Urusei Yatsura got a game on the Famicom and the Sega Mega CD back in the day.

Before that, I watched Strawberry Marshmallow, but that got a visual novel on the Playstation 2.

I watched Christmas Eve on Sesame Street the other day. The first 10 minutes of that is skating. I suppose that could be a mini-game. Oscar the Grouch throwing snowballs at carolers could also be a minigame. Maybe Big Bird searching for Santa Claus could be a mini-game, as can Cookie Monster eating a telephone.

I watched a NOVA episode on Apollo 8; so it would probably be a dumbed-down version of Kerbal Space Program.
