Man, is The Last of Us brought up in any shape or form positively nowadays? At least without requiring focusing solely on the first game and pretend that travesty of the sequel isnt looming behind it? I dont see a single person singing praises over TLOU Part 2 in a legit manner that isnt trying to own its "haters".

Its clear that the act of enjoying this game isnt out of legit enjoyment but a political statement and the twitter crowd eats that up like flies on a turd.
Part 2 truly was the last jedi of gaming.
Doesnt anyone can imagine what Part 3 (since aparently it is going to happen) has in store? I legit hope Ellie isnt even it and its an Abby solo story just so we can see the torture porn inflicted on her for once. Where just they can head after Part 2? There is no setups unlike the previous one. Seriously Part 2 just destroyed any investment we had in this universe.
Troy has no say in the matter. If they wanted to have Joel shit a turd and then eat it, Troy would be force to act that out.

as of now, there's no multiplayer. whether or not they add multiplayer to the game is up in the air as druck the cuck might be too busy huffing farts over a remake of the first game, working as a co producer on the show, being the co president of naughty dog, and from being an asshole in general
Good. Big nose was the closest thing to fuckable in TLoU2 anyway. Especially if you look at a picture of Abby before looking at her.
Has Neil done anything good ever? I know he worked on TLoU1, but IIRC he needed a tard wrangler to do that properly. Part 2 is what happens when the tard's let loose on a series.

That depends, I didnt think journos would ever admit (in their own ways at least) that the last jedi was garbage so I believe Part 2 might follow the same route eventually. Tho I feel like journos were allowed to pick on the last jedi because Disney itself isnt honestly giving a rat's ass about the sequel trilogy anymore, its all either prequel, original or post original trilogy but not post enough to enter into the sequel territory. Im not sure if Sony will do the same since part 3 will happen at some point. What needs to happen is the mega corporations behind them not care to the point of journalists feel safe enough to share some of the once so controversial opinions.
So who knows, it would be nice but at the same time, I dont see many journalists today saying Ghostbusters 2016 was a trashfire when its clear that Sony doesnt care for it anymore...We will see

Another apt comparison would be Game of Thrones. Both had solid beginnings, earning industry accolades as well as a lot of fans (GoT more so, but still). And then both ended up delivering such a disappointing ending that it effectively killed all interest in their respective series. Like, it's impressive how season 8 of GoT managed to turn a worldwide phenomenon into something that effectively didn't exist. Nobody talks about it anymore, not even to reminisce about the good seasons.
The same can be said about TLOU2's ending, but it also applies to the game as a whole. It shit on fans who wanted a continuation to the story they had gotten invested in, ruined and killed off beloved characters while adding in much worse replacements, and forced you to play half the game as a literal psychopath that Druckman desperately wanted you to love. And then the end comes and you finally have a chance to kill off the totally-not-a-man-seriously antagonist, and it's pulled away from you at the last second to shove in some hackneyed "durr revenge baaaad, humans are the reeeeal monsters" "moral," like that's not the most obvious fucking bullshit plot for a zombie story. It was a complete trainwreck, and thanks to that TLOU is out of the public lexicon, despite Druckman's attempts to stay relevant with the TV show and yet another TLOU1 remaster.
Seriously, do you hear anyone talking about TLOU anymore? I feel like you have to actively search for conversations about it, like going to the (shudder) subreddit where it's nothing but cope and denial. TLOU3 soon, honest!

Druckmann would probably put Abby and the tranny as the main protagonists, just to piss off the people who didn't like the second game.
It wouldnt really piss me off, at this point it would just get my brutal and uncaring indifference.

Probably get herself shot and somehow not killed and then captured and let a player controlled Ellie do all the slaughtering for her.
My question would be who in TLOU2 would represent the Palestinian side? Abby comes to mind obviously, but I'm not sure if Neil Druckmann wants his character that he created and pushed as being the "true protagonist" as being of a religion that clashes with his beliefs, him being a Jew and all.
Thats the beauty of it. Keep shit conveniently so vague you can apply to any side and anyone ! That way he can "say" something without outright stating something.

It was hated by a good number of game reviewers for that reason. I think it was the IGN review specifically that pointed out he was a straight white male and hated the protagonist and his story because of it.
Personally I enjoyed it. I also like Sam Witwer as a VA. So him motion capping and voice acting the protagonist was cool.
Did have allot of technical issues on release tho. Also were quite a few framerate issues. All of which hurt it on release.
But you will probably not encounter any of those issues if you are playing on PC.
