The LEGO Saga? -

We focused on the fire incident and this current eBay shit so much, we couldn't see the real saga canditate: His lego addiction.

Qualifications:
  • It's been going on for more than 6 months
  • It involves notable Christory events such as Awesome Alliance competition and Simonla's resurrection (the whole thing was surfaced because of her lego model)
  • And most importantly, it comes with a video.
Now you might say that it still can't be a saga because doesn't involve other people. Well, what about Tomgirl Saga? How many people did that involved?

If his crossdressing addiction was a saga, why not his lego addiction?
From whichever way you look at it, this thing has a great potential.

Is there even a need to name it before events have unfolded? Christorians will eventually decide a name for it after the fact. Better to enjoy the events now without trying to frame them.
Yes, you can't name saga before it seeing the end. What I'm trying to say is that when this whole lego crap was over, there is a great chance of it becoming a TRUE and HONEST saga.

And plus, sagas are kinda forced.
Yes they are. I'm not saying otherwise. In fact, that's exactly why I'm saying this should be a saga.

Elaborate. And plus, Chris is obsessed with LEGOs since he was small. He made Sonichu LEGOs during his Sonichu comic years. I don't think there's a chance for it to be over, but we'll wait and see though.

And if it were to be a saga, it should be something important. It can't be just going on for months, involving a video about it or something related to his work. It has to be beyond that.

A good example would be the Megan saga. It does go on for months. It does involve videos about it. It does involve Sailor Megtune in the comic. But is that it? No. It also starts the beginning of Chris's well-known love quest which is going on right now. It has to involve something that changes Chris's life.

"Saga" is just something people use as shorthand to describe a collection of Chris events. It's not something worth caring about.
That's right. That's exactly why people should stop creating guidelines about what can be saga.

And equally why people shouldn't create threads trying to officially declare a series of events as one.
It's just for fun. But I guess putting guidelines is for fun too. :tomgirl:
Well, in the end, everything happens in this community is for fun. Except for Chris...

I'd hesistate to call it a saga until it produces some entertaining content. Seeing Chris begging for Lego sets isn't exactly up there with 'For My Sweetest Ivy' or the Father Call. When he begins angrily demanding Lego in videos, becoming more and more frantic until he burns the rental home down in the hope of getting another care package ( :alog: ), then it's a saga.

Tomgirl saga had none of that stuff but it still became a saga *yawn*

What I've noticed with sagas was that they generally were centered around a person or organisation which had recently entered Chris' life and ended up generating a large amount of content. There's obviously exceptions to the rule with the Tomgirl Saga, but the rest were centered around people, places or websites. Given Chris has recently become more paranoid than a sheep among a pack of wolves, he's let no one else new into his life, he doesn't venture out into new realms of the internet where he isn't certain he can escape the trolls and he doesn't really leave his house anymore. Thus, we haven't seen a true saga in some time.
