Chris is lonely. We all know Chris is lonely. He misses his "circle of gal-pals" from high school, but has he really had no real friends since then? Let's go through some of the tidbits Chris have shared over the years, shall we?
Chris on his 23:d birthday said:
Christian Chandler had originally planned to have his party on Thursday, February 24, but then it got snowed out, so it was changed to Saturday, February 26. His party was located at the Fashion Square Shopping Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, by the tree between Abercrombie & Fitch and Pacific Sunwear. A couple of his new-found gal-pals, who all already have Boyfriends, or are otherwise undatable, due to her religion, came by to his party and have partaken in the lovely cake and Mello Yello soda pop. They also gave him a very nice present too. His parents were also there, with a present as well, and they told a couple of interesting stories of Christian. Christian, his parents, and his friends, all had a good time, which makes up for Christian’s snowed out 23rd Birthday.

I have learned the best term to describe me, Tomgirl. :) Yes, I am a Tomgirl, and I am damn proud of it. I have embraced and appreciated my feminine side. I am still totally heterosexual. Otherwise, I would be a full-blown you-know-what. I also have had my ears pierced with amythest studs (my birthstone) recently. I have been more self-confident, and I have a sweet sashay walk, hair and wink flirts, and I am greeting women left and right. Hello. ;)

In addition to this update, I am sending you some fun photographs I took recently (Only Linnea has seen them so far, and I do not want anyone else to see them either; strictly confidential between the three of us).

The karaoke Mondays at Applebees have been good and fun. The trolls have been adding very little to the Cwcki, and they have not found any photos I've recently shared with Molly via e-mail.

Among the new friends I've met are a few gals who work at T.G.I.Fridays; few of which also hang out at Applebees Monday nights for Kareokee. There's Jessica, Tamika and Cassie, plus I know another Jessie at the R-Ville Wal-Mart, and Emily at Sephora of F.Square. I've only known them a few weeks, and I know little about them. All I can say about them is that they're all good, friendly women with their own satisfied romance histories. Nothing has happened with me involved there.
Lookin at his old Facebook updates there's also Anna, Kim and Dana Mahri (who has gone AWOL for quite a while).

Now, we know Chris tends to exaggerate things, but that's still quite a number of people he have mentioned, and some of them relatively recently (and all before the "reunion saga"). What happened to all these gal-pals he had amassed? We never even heard of the girls who went to his party during college again, and he never mentioned any of the other women again either. Does Chris lead a richer life than we like to imagine?

Before I begin I'd like to state this is all my speculation and could be totally wrong. That aside…

Marvin might know, but "Molly" might have been a friend of "Jackie"

He's talking about employees at places he visits, people who are nice to him because they have to be.remember Caitlan the waitress. He called her a gal pal after one meeting.

I'm pretty sure Jackie discussed Chris's new gal-pals at some point, and he admitted that they were barely even acquaintances, just local shop girls whose name he knew.

for many of us, the transaction we have with the girl behind the cash register is merely a way we are able to get goods and services that we need or want

for chris, it's a true and honest gal-pal friendship

I'll bring the Mello Yello soda pop.
I might have mentioned this before, but I used to work in a mall and there would be...slow in da minds that would come into the store almost daily and considered me and my co-workers their "friends" because we let them hang around and talk to us. I think that's what's going on in these scenarios, only a lot smellier and unpleasant.

Eye contact is Chris's criteria for terminal galpalism. He'll probably try to reconnect with her in five years, and be heartbroken when she doesn't remember him. Trivial, inconsequential meetings with strangers are the closest thing Chris has to a social life, so he clings to them.

Also, what do you want to bet that the mall was not informed by the Chandlers that they were going to be setting up camp there for their horny screamer?

If Chris manages to learn the name of a girl he finds attractive, even if it's only from her name tag at work, he automatically counts her among his "friends". In reality, none of these people whose names he dropped ever wanted anything to do with him, and if they interacted with him at all, it was only because it was their job and they had to.

came to post this

he seems to be confusing good customer service with actual friendship which welp autism

i'm reminded of that scene in adaptation where nicolas cage asks out the little waitress and weirds her out because he's a moron and doesn't realize being friendly and chatty is part of the job description

Pretty sure 90% of them are either the cashiers of random stores he once visited or random girls he talked to while pacing around the mall. From the Tale of the Crazy Pacer we know that the first thing Chris does after greeting a random girl is ask her name, so it's not strange that he knows the name of random women he once talked to. Either that or he just reads it from their name tag.

Several of his female "galpals" were co-workers of Anna at Pacsun. This trend continues today with Anna introducing more of her "friends and co workers" from him to friend on facebook.

We know that's how Waterhead "got in", so you're saying there's a precedent for this? That's interesting!
