Enjoyable movie, but only really because of its visuals and action sequences. The acting (aside from Hugo Weaving) is meh, and those oh-so amazing philosophical ideas that geeks were squeeing over in the early 2000s? They popped up on an episode of Star Trek: TNG, which treated them as a joke.
They were second-rate ripoffs of Philip K. Dick's throwaway ideas, and while not original even to PKD, he did a lot more with them.
It is a rip off of "The Invisibles" which is better because it has an actual tranny in it
I liked it better when it was called Inception.
An interesting science fiction story with some pretty interesting ideas for the time, especially in filming; though in the long run it may have done more harm than it did good looking at much of today's contributions to the genre.
