The Breakfast Club and Back to the Future scream "made in the 80's" to me, though that's probably partially because neither's had a remake.

For the 80’s, I’d say that the Scarface remake is one that is just classic. Also, Rambo First Blood still holds up great, and is shot in a very “80’s” fashion.
But to me, the miniseries V from 1983 will always hold a special place in my heart. It is 80’s as fuck, but damn I love it.
As for the 90’s, Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs certainly had massive impacts on 90’s cinema and what people were willing to try in terms of directing. I’d also say that Starship Troopers is just a classic movie that really puts the then common ‘war action’ movie into a more satirical light, as opposed to Rambo being more about the horror that a soldier faced.

Well certainly any movie with contemporary/later historical events or people must be considered indicative of the 80s and 90s, for example

For the 80s you got => Rambo 3, Rocky IV, For Yours Eyes Only, The Living Daylights (i.e. Soviet Occupation of Afghanistan though that did begin in 1979), etc.
For the 90s you got => whichever Naked Gun movie(s) was supposed to have George H. W. Bush in it, I think its safe to include both Hot Shots movies (strictly based on contemporary references such as Saddam Hussein who, it's fair to say, came into the American public conscience in the early 90s and then again later in 2003), etc.

And this is not including particular technology that just existed or certain pop-culture references never mind things which were simply fashionable back then.

Angus was pretty fucking 90's but also paid a good homage to the 80's clichés as well.
