I don't know why you're on it or which Dr you get it from, but I'd suggest reaching out to your primary Dr & "hashing it out" or finding another Dr/Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner. This "OpIoID EpiDEmiC" BS has made a mess of things for both patients & prescribers, but stopping a med like that is some high level weirdness & not within the CDC/FDA/DEA's guidelines. I suggest you taper yourself off w/ what's left & report this to the state board. Wish I could offer better advice but all I have is this & well wishes for you.

I can get just about any drug that is a controlled substance in the US over the counter where I live... except for benzos. Criminals here use them to rob people so in order to get them, you have to have a prescription, and present ID and be fingerprinted at the pharmacy in order to pick them up. Instead of Klonopin, why not try some nice healthy booze instead?
