I don't understand why people care so much about anything he does, one way or another. He makes sub-par content about western cartoons, and is neither funny or insightful. I guess I don't understand the extreme degree with which people hate him. Maybe that's just part of the insanity involved in people who try and deconstruct children's cartoons.

I'm surprised he's still working on this Growing Around thing. It's still a mess, too.

I skimmed one "episode" that was all about the death of a parent. Adults play the role of kids in this show, so the daughter - Sally - is actually in the role of grieving parent. However because Sally is still a child she has difficulty understanding death, something the script makes note of, and emotionally she can't deal with it. This is supposed to be a show for kids, right?

There's also a random scene where Sally's father brings her cookies that he baked. That seems like something a parent would do for their child, but because this is Growing Around the roles are supposed to be reversed. :\

Anyway, the part that I skimmed felt oddly dark and not just because of the subject of death. There's a scene where Sally is trying to fix a car. She's a mechanic even though she's probably like 10. While she's working on the car her hair gets caught in the engine and "comically" flings her tiny child body across the garage. Remember this is the episode where Enter establishes that DEATH exists in this backwards kooky world.

EDIT: Guys, he wrote a goddamn book. The reviews are suspiciously positive.

Well, that's why he hated that Disney Channel short I brought up earlier. He apparently thinks this sort of thing works a lot better if the kids somehow remained kids despite playing adults. I sure don't understand it.

Link to that chapter if possible? I want to see that mess.
Also, Enter released on twitter his title picture of growing around. Just look at it.

Y'all do realize that he's never gonna be able to ever get his BS made, right?? Being on YouTube whining like a bitch about sweet nothings for too long ensures that. Still, I admit it is fun to watch him try (and fail), so thanks (as usual) for that.

sure, it will never be real aside of some printed book shit that sells worse than erotic fanfic on amazon.
still, it is fun to see this trainwreck ruin his life.

i unironically wish him success with his ventures. which is more likely than you realize. especially since, you know, he's no dan schnieder or Dave Kelly.
Or Movie Bob, Or Andrew Dobson, Or Moleman.

He's got some serious SJW-ism in him, so give it time. As for those losers, not a good comparison - unless he touches someone the wrong way, of course...
