I just remembered that the lady on the Gryffindor common room entrance painting was literally called "The Fat Lady."
I'm surprised none of the tumblrites have thought to use this as ammo against her, though it's probably because none of them have actually read the books.

The only person I feel sorry for is Claudia Kim since she actually wants to be in the role, I just hope the autism from the SJWs and the fanbase don't run her off the internet . As for JK Rowling, she's just adding shit and fucking up the canon again a la George Lucas in order to expand the series especially with that shitty play/book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Jk really messed things up when she decided to add "extra" tibits of information that would have been nice to talk about on a podcast or in a small, "character info" book.

Okay? Why not just have it mention in pottermore or as a small mention in the last book? Doing so right now, doesnt really make her look really good to her fans.

The fandom can be great, but it really sucks that most feel the need to pick out unnecessary things from the book. Like Dumbledore is gay, they wanted JK to outright state it, but during that time period she couldnt and most people just couldnt understand

Its the same about the lack of poc in her books. You have to understand JKs life in the UK and who she was surrounded by when she was growing up but people just dont get it.

Actually, it WAS mentioned on Pottermore. I think Kim was the first person to reveal it on Twitter, not Rowling.
There's an interview from years ago where she mentions something about Voldemort's rebirth or something, and that she'll reveal it later. Apparently her editor wanted to vomit.

I think some of this is just ignorance -- like how freak shows worked in the past. (They're not putting her in a cage because she's a "dragon lady". Likewise, some people misunderstand the term "milk a snake" and get this image of Nagini having tits or something.
