Aren't those guys also based in Europe? IIRC, CD Projekt is a Polish company.

I mean, id Software is American and while the companies who made them are run by autistic Californians, God of War 4 and Spidey PS4 seem fairly apolitical as gamesAren't those guys also based in Europe? IIRC, CD Projekt is a Polish company.
Where that happon
Just had to throw that in there, of course.Modern Warfare's claim of the narrative and moral high ground represents a drastic shift away from this history. It's also completely sincere. Developers are focusing on realism because they want to tell a story that matters and leave the old tropes behind, Kurosaki said. It's meant to connect with players in a fresh way and push the series forward. Realistic military maneuvers, weapons and audio. Realistic heroes, bystanders and corpses. Realistic enemies -- but still Russian and Arab ones invading foreign soil. (In reality, at least in the United States, domestic terrorists are more common than international plotters, with white supremacists leading the charge).
That's what the article said though.Just had to throw that in there, of course.
All in all, the campaign's actually not looking to be particularly woke. It seems like it's going to be a retread of the first game except Price, I'm assuming, is going to be alongside the Marines the whole game and the other campaign will be the freedom fighter. And hey, there are female freedom fighters in the Middle East.
Yeah, that's why I said I don't think the game's going to be woke. @Syaoran Li misinterpreted the article a bit, the dude making the game didn't say anything about the game was woke. In fact, he was describing it pretty much exactly like they described the first (or original, goddamn fucking reboots) Modern Warfare. Basically "more realistic violence, more modern story with terrorism" blah blah. The woke, snide comments were made by the article writer, who couldn't help themselves from quoting that dumbass Rami Ismail and whining about white supremacist terrorism. As if white supremacist terrorism which involves radicalization online isn't fucking boring compared to massive terrorist cells in exotic locations, on top of being incredibly rare. That's what the article said though.
@Syaoran Li was just trying to own the libs, trigger the libs.Yeah, that's why I said I don't think the game's going to be woke. @Syaoran Li misinterpreted the article a bit, the dude making the game didn't say anything about the game was woke. I honestly don't blame him, when I first heard about the female freedom fighter campaign I was like "oh, shit, what are they doing". But as far as I can tell, even the Naughty Dog writers who would cause me to raise my eyebrows haven't said anything about the game being about evil white supremacist colonizers or whatever. It's just seems to be a normal war story with bad terrorists, with maybe some commentary on the line between civilian and military targets. You know it's not going to be woke when they're being extremely careful like with the first Modern Warfare of having the Russians be the bad guys you fight during the freedom fighter campaign.@Syaoran Li was just trying to own the libs, trigger the libs.
I'm not going to watch the trailer but screenshots had the White Helmets (as seen in that beheading video) in em so I'm guessing this game is gonna keep it really real about Syria.eah, that's why I said I don't think the game's going to be woke.
Yeah the game looks like a mix of ripped from the headlines Syria/Middle East bullshit and Russians because of course a 2019 game about modern conflicts is gonna feature cartoonishly evil Russians.I'm not going to watch the trailer but screenshots had the White Helmets (as seen in that beheading video) in em so I'm guessing this game is gonna keep it really real about Syria.

I don't know maybe it won't be a "Hey remember seeing this on the news?!" trash fire but I'm not getting my hopes up.
MW3 came out in 2011 though.Russians being cartoonishly evil, well might as well continue the trend from MW2-3.
Never played either of them since I stopped after Blops 2 but Advanced Warfare was also generic PMCs led by Kevin Spacey and Infinite Warfare was space colonists that wanted to genocide earthlings, the closest thing to a common enemy the COD games all have is fucking zombies with Russians and Nazis trailing behind. The whole 'muh brown people killing simulator' is just proto-woke memes from the Bush era about media in general.Okay first of all
"Acclaimed indie developer Rami Ismail described the franchise in 2016 as, "That's Call of Duty, over and over. Shoot all the Arabs. Muslim blood is the cheapest in the world." "
I haven't played any cawadooty games in ages, but I can already fucking tell you this is bullshit because even a cursory glance at each game will tell you how stupid this is.
>Cod4: Arabs for the first act, Russians for the rest.
>WaW: Japanese and Germany
>MW2: Arabs for one level, brazillians, russians and americans
>MW3: Africans for one level, Russians in the rest
>Blops: Cubans, Russians, Vietnamese
>Blops 2: Cubans, a few russians in the flashback levels
>Ghosts: The entirety of South America
>WW2: Germany
Nevermind No Russian, which had you gun down an entire airport of russian civilians and security personnel.
But guys like him don't have an agenda, right? They're obviously not scoring brownie points by trashing a Triple A game franchise, naw.
I'd love that, but I wouldn't think of a developer, much like Activision, that would take that marketing risk. I'm optimistic about this game, but knowing Activision, something is bound to go wrong.they shoulda gone full Spec Ops The Line and have you kill American soldiers as the "freedom fighter" instead of Russians.
