So anyone else think the Jags will fuck up with Lawrence?
Coin toss. Too soon to tell.

Personal opinion: I don't think he's gonna be a total bust, but I think he is going to struggle for a year or two, minimum. NFL defenses are just so freaking fast it kind of seems to me reading them is something innate, either you have it or you don't, but also something you gotta see a bit before you figure it out. Mahomes, misstep in the most recent Super Bowl aside, can do it. Sam Darnold ... I'm covinced can't.

It might just be a stupid enough year for that to happen. Bills and Jags in the AFC Championship as the Chiefs have gotten one too many whiffs of their own farts.

What's everyone think about Rodgers being on the move? Denver maybe?
Denver is salivating at the idea, and their new GM would probably sacrifice Elway upon an altar to the old gods to get him.

Guys I like today: Owusu-Koramoah, Barmore, Ronalde & Elijah Moore, Creed Humphrey, Moehrig, among many others. This is a pretty deep draft for day two guys.

LMFAO Jaguars pick Walter Little, nobody in his house looks happy. His face is in pure pain as the camera zooms in. :story:
Hell of a pick though. Dude would have gone in the top ten two years ago if sophomores were draft eligible.

In Cowboys news, we drafted some guy I've never heard of who got kicked out of LSU for conduct issues. You've basically gotta fucking murder someone to get pushed out of Baton Rouge if you're worth a shit on the field. Typical fucking Jerry pick.

Probably rape, considering what’s shown up from the internal LSU athletics emails from fed probes.

EDIT: I thought they were fed probes because of the Nike stuff, I had the wrong school. This was just some reviews following their ex athletics director getting accused of being a molester and covering up the actions of his players when it came to sexual assaults and domestic violence. Shits nuts

If he's even mentioned in all the shit around Guice, this pick is even worse than I thought. On a more positive note, his nickname is evidently "Bossman Fat" and I'm laughing so hard my head hurts.

Edit: The fact that Cleveland seems have a competent, possibly even good, front office is blowing my mind right now.

Cleveland’s GM is the unsung hero of that organization. He’s made some mistakes but he’s head and shoulders above who they had in the position before and he’s kept ownership happy. Not an easy job.

Dude you literally just solved it; DCFC
I’d totally rock some DCFC merchandise and I’d rather give up my left nut than see Dan Snyder getting anything out of an organization he ruined for so long.

Report: Rodgers would consider retiring if Packers situation isn't fixed
Daniel Valente
5h ago

Aaron Rodgers would seriously consider retiring from the NFL if his dispute with the Green Bay Packers isn't resolved, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

The reigning NFL MVP quarterback would have to repay his signing bonus if he walks away entirely and owe $11.5 million in both 2021 and 2022.

The Packers and Rodgers have been at odds throughout the offseason. The passer reportedly told individuals in the organization that he doesn't want to return due to issues with his contract and members of the front office.

Rodgers and Green Bay's brass reportedly met several times over the last month regarding his contract, but a resolution wasn't decided. The team apparently wanted him to restructure his deal, but the signal-caller wanted an extension.

Rodgers has reportedly circled the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders as his preferred trade destinations if he's dealt.

Following the NFL draft's first round, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said he ruled out trading Rodgers but admitted to engaging in a "very brief" trade call.

The 37-year-old passer was named NFL MVP last season after tossing 48 touchdowns to five interceptions. He also spent part of this offseason as a guest host for "Jeopardy!"

Well Wyatt Davis just got picked by the Vikes, so all the probable day two guys I know by name are off the board. Looking forward to next year when my Cowboys are ferociously battling the Eagles, Giants and Team for the crown of the NFC East, lead by a lockdown cornerback tandem of Stefon Diggs's brother and Bossman Fat.

I really like the current players announcing their team's picks. A+ move by the NFL. Reminds me a bit of the NBA lottery.

>Use highest pick of your 3 total in this draft for....another wide receiver.

I want some of whatever Schneider and Carrol are smoking, wtf is this pick. Creed Humphrey was right there.

Leaving aside the fact that Pete Carroll is an actual fucking senile lunatic, Seattle is like a bizarro Green Bay. Both teams have HOF quarterbacks and seem hellbent on doing nothing to actually address their offensive issues, but each in their own unique way.

Edit: Fantasy bros, McKitty on LAC is a deep sleeper. Somebody has to eat Hunter Henry's target share.
