As far as lolcow behaviour goes this seems quite harmless to me. They don't directly involve anybody else in this stuff (exspecially not children) and they don't fetishize unrelated things. They try to better themselves with abstaining from something they consider harmful.
Sure the "science" behind it is bullshit and they still focus themself massively on fapping and it might not be that healthy, but I think that's not so worse.
As long as they don't want to force everybody into abstinence (and claim that marital rape is impossible and crap like that).

I'm so fucking glad there's a thread on these guys. I'll start by saying that the times that I've gone there looking for a good laugh, I have seen many seemingly normal people. The best example of this is married men (or just men in LTRs) who have a genuine porn addiction and spend more time jerking off to porn then they spend paying attention to their SO. I say good for you for bettering yourself.

Of course this thread wasn't made about those guys. The large number of virgins on there makes me wonder if there's a significant crossover between NF and the incel/foreverx subs.

Most of them are "harmless". But they have a large population of autistic virgins who are "kissless" as well. Not saying being a virgin or anything makes you a raging cow by default, but they seem more susceptible to this whole "us VS evil wimmin" mindset when it comes to sex. A lot of posts there are just fucking sad. Sperging about holding a girls hand or having your first kiss at 25 is technically harmless, but it's still funny. And if you were to provoke them in any way, I'm sure they'd BAWWW as hard as they could.

The funny thing is, sex drive, and thus the desire to masturbate, gets higher along with the level of testosterone. If you don't want to do it, it means your male hormone level is abnormally low, and that's not a good thing.
