Meanwhile they do all their tumblr bitching about it by using iPhones and other smartphones. . .produced by literal African slave labor.
Tumblr has an especially hard hateboner for Tarantino despite the fact that some of his movies should be shit they adore. Kill Bill features a bunch of badass samurai chicks murdering more than one abusive fuck, and they're multiple ethnicities too! That Death Proof film had a bunch of girls beating the shit out of the car murderer guy. Inglorious Basterds is all about giving the Nazis the horrible deaths they deserve and features an interracial couple (IN 1940s GERMANY) and Jews galore.
But no. He's a blood-crazed sex maniac who used period-relevant slurs in one of his movies, clearly a shitlord.
Y'see, there's the problem. SJWs tend to be anti-semites for some reason.
Because they see the Palestine/Israel conflict as the Jews disenfranchising and murdering "poor innocent brown people" (when in reality it's a hell of a lot more complicated than that). Because there's a number of white people who are Jewish and white people are literally the devil.
I have seen people, not even trolling, claim that the Holocaust either wasn't that bad or that it was justified because it was primarily done against white people. It's absolutely disgusting.
Perhaps there could be a reality show where various Dumblrinas are subjected to the same conditions the Jewish were at Auschwitz (seeing as how they're all white, they should be okay with it) where they will be imprisoned for a year. Whomever can prove themselves worthy enough to ze master race (the non-whites, because they seem to treat anyone who isn't white as one big 'POC' race) is allowed to live. But PLOT TWIST, those that do not die from the conditions are sent into a chamber and gassed. And next year and series it begins again. I'm sure there's literally hundreds of SJWs willing to line up to show how much better they are than other whites.

Originally, "childhood ruined" was seeing porn of a cartoon character you grew up with and thought of as innocent, but you can't see them the same way again. I think that is legitimate...
but then it gets so overused that it loses all meaning, like how "triggered" now means "mildly annoyed".
Childhood ruined also meant to be just something that was said jokingly, now it's taken very very seriously.
It's not even used correctly anymore, either, as an end result. See Reddit, Tumblr, etc. for examples.
Theme bitching about Vasquez's death would be missing this point: the aliens they go against are suppose to be something they never encountered. They'd also forget that Ripley's experience throughout the series has her go from someone scared of the aliens to actually being willing to even sacrifice her life to prevent them from existing and hurting other people.
People who spout "MUH childhood is ruinz" are just autist that the idea of growing up is an anathema to their existence, though I tend to act childish sometimes.
Acting like a normal grown up is no longer in vogue. At least not for the Tumblr crowd. That's why "adulting" is a common phrase now
And The Simpsons, The Critic, Tiny Toons...fuck, Alvin and the Chipmunks literally had an entire season where the characters starred in their own versions of popular movies.
i can understand nostalgia, but cmon man. we're living in the best time ever. just because you could dance to gabber and drop acid in the 90s doesnt mean a thing. the internet is the best thing ever. its the reason you even care so much about the past

Warner Bros. cartoons in general were filled to the brim with references to at-the-time current pop culture, most of it is just lost on modern viewers since they can't differentiate between a random funny gag and a gag that's a reference to some radio show they've never heard of. The same will happen to all these references they're complaining about in Powerpuff Girls and whatnot. 2060 audiences watching reruns of those shows aren't going to know that shit is referencing dated pop culture.
Ripley also realistically evolves over the course of the first three films from very much “the chick,” an ordinary woman and probably the least suited to dealing with the creature, to a badass who’s tougher and smarter than any of the men. In fact, she’s often cited in feminist studies of science fiction for being a strong and realistic female protagonist.
