Hanna secretly joins a group called The Onania Club. Its members, strong independent L.A. women, get aroused by the misery of others. Hanna meets more misery than she could ever hope for and in the process loses everything she cares for.
So, the movie is currently in "release hell", because not a single distributor wants anything to do with it. The handful of reviewers who managed to see the movie definitely enjoyed it, so we can expect vantablack levels of humor and social commentary... but alas, no distributor wants to release it.
The writer/director, the Dutch Tom Six has released a statement on his Youtoob channel last month, explaining the current situation:
A damn shame, really. I remember back when "Human Centipede: First Sequence" was about to come out, there was plenty of hype around the movie and it didn't disappoint. The sequels were a bit too meta for my taste, but other than that, it was a breath of fresh air for sure.
For obvious reasons he also explains that he can't just upload the movie and have everyone torrent it, he has an obligation to his investors so it's a definite no-no. Guess we'll just have to wait until someone ballsy enough makes a deal with Six and we finally get to watch it.
