On the Tranny News Megathread, I claimed that the decline of Christianity is to blame for the transgender madness because people ignore the Bible verses against transgenderism. I got mocked for it, but today when browsing Catholic Answers Forums, I found a thread with a link to this article that shows additional evidence showing how it is related to the decline of Christianity and the sexual revolution which are both interrelated.

Here are the highlights.

Rightly ordered sexuality is not at the core of Christianity, but as Rieff saw, it’s so near to the center that to lose the Bible’s clear teaching on this matter is to risk losing the fundamental integrity of the faith. This is why Christians who begin by rejecting sexual orthodoxy end either by rejecting Christianity themselves or by laying the groundwork for their children to do so.

That there is male and there is female — two of the most basic biological facts — that is now heresy. You are to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears, or you are a bigot. You are, to use another Orwell term, a thought criminal.

So the solution to stop this Orwellianism is for society to become Christian again.

I don't think there is a sexual revolution. We already had a sexual revolution decades ago, we gave everyone the liberty to fuck who they please, with the disclaimer that the other person is capable of consenting to it, and everyone's body was deemed something to not be ashamed of. What we have these days is sexual schizophrenia. A way too big chunk of women now want to see less skin everywhere, scream sexism and "objectifying" the female figure, and more and more people are simply passing off sex as a bad idea because of the rising prevalence of lawsuits and STDs. Not only that, we're not encouraged to be sexual, but we're forced to accept everyone we don't want. We're not allowed to have personal tastes, we must be thirsty for everyone for the sake of their feelings. We got free sex for everyone but never stopped to teach everyone responsibility and now we're fucked (but never literally.)

I like to call this garbage sexual schizophrenia because of all the arbitrary rules that are now in place, all of which constantly contradict each other.

Without going very deep into your premise, your argument faces a clear problem.

Non-Christian Atheistic societies are having less sex, and have just as many if not far many more social/cultural rules surrounding "acceptable" sexual practice (consent during sex, being open to sex with trans people etc) than the Catholic Church does.

As @Clop pointed out and if the most recent Gallup, Pew Reports and government reproductive and marriage surveys are anything to go by, the godless atheists/agnostics and "nones" are actually less promiscuous than Christians are. I am aware that the US loved to do a lot of abstinence-only, but I can promise you the opposite didn't help, either. Everyone takes a very extreme stance to sex education, and nobody teaches that you need to practice responsibility and think of long-term consequences. It's either "NO SEX FOR YOU, TIMMY" or "eh who cares, it's yo body." It's fucking stupid. I can name several very blatant lies from sex education, including shit like "a condom does not make sex less pleasurable" and "oral sex causes pregnancy." It's not that hard to figure out that if a kid catches you lying, they're not going to listen to the real shit like "you're going to die of AIDS if you don't take precautions and think about how much a roll in the hay is worth to you."

When your populace is apathetic and just wants to chase happiness its very easy to take away their rights especially when they are doped up on the next new synthetic drug.
