I just got done playing my first session of RE3make. Hardcore difficulty.

I don't think Phil is going to handle Hardcore mode very well.

There are a lot more zombies compared to RE2, and even if they do less damage than RE2 zombies, they can surround you really easily.

You HAVE to master the dodge move to perform well in this game.

Nemesis is FAST.
If you don't learn how to dodge, you're screwed.

If you don't dodge, not only he will kill you in two punches.
You will also not be able to dodge the zombies the game will place in front of you while Nemesis chases you around.

You have to learn to dodge enemies on the fly while running, otherwise Nemesis will destroy you.

Phil is going to have a really bad time here.

Phil's watching/using a guide ahead so honestly its going to be really boring.

Theres no ink ribbons so he's free to save after picking up literally any item and can essentially checkpoint himself at will.

He plays with the brightness turned so low you can barely see what the fuck's going on, despite his chat conplaining and him admitting it was very dark.

Its gonna be a shit stream but not a topic worthy stream, mostly because it'll be way too boring. Literally zero chance of the good salt.

This game has been incredibly fun. I've yet to get the perfect dodge mechanic down quite yet, but I get it maybe 60% of the time.

Phil always makes games I like seem like absolute chores (well, that's any game he plays anyway....).

Oh great, a dodge button for Phil. I can see it already: "Dude I pressed dodge! Look I'm pressing it! OMG DOOD! Fuckin Capcom man, what a shitty game. This is totally a cash grab and pales in comparison to the RE2 Remake. They don't explain the shitty mechanics of the game."

I honestly don't see him having too much trouble with re 3. capcom made the game really easy, I just finished my hardcore playthrough and it wasn't much worse than standard. sure nemesis can 2 shot you but his attacks are really easy to dodge aside from that there are only 2 enemies in the game that have 1 hit kill attacks and there aren't many of them.

You're absolutely right, but what I think that poster's point was is that there won't be quite as much salt as say a Ni-oh or Sekiro, those games offer a good challenge to even skilled players, this game falls short of that. Sure Phil will rage (and he rages at everything, give it time and he'll be raging at Animal Crossing, "Stupid Tom Nook not letting me not pay him while spending my money on other things and racking up debt, this game is so unrealistic!") but it won't be as much rage and salt and scumbag guide reading as a really hard game.

He has. It's one of his more imfamous playthroughs, due to him constantly saving and bitching about how he has no ink ribbons.

He's also pretty apparently watching guides and/or reading tips/hints about upcoming events, so I wouldn't expect a whole lot. Just keep mocking him when he does something that makes it clear he's read ahead, because he's not good at hiding it.

I played up to Carlos scenario and there is too much walkers for me. Zombies are ultra endurable for shots into the head in comparison to RE2. Those fuckers just won't lay down. Also, more ammo goes to stun the fuckers. It's not like in RE2 were one-two focused shot will stun them for few seconds.

The Nemesis is a bit of funny because You can literally omit his 2nd encounter (this one from the demo) because if You take long route though the scaffolding he's not going to bother You in this area. Like he doesn't exist till you backtrack there after bringing back the electricity. Also, you can 1-hit him with grenade so if you aim carefully he won't bother You at all. I would say he's more of annoyance than obstacle.

It might be entertaining watching Phil going through the spiders area because if You didn't master the dodge button they will literally eat you alive there.

EDIT: He's awful. Got bitten by elevator zombies which can be 100% omitted

He held his own stream hostage and people still paid the ransom? Pretty sure this is one of the signs of the End Times.

yes but phil doesnt take cues from the game, he died 3 or 4 times, reloaded his save twice after running out of ammo then had his little tantrum. either way I'm pretty sure he'll have the game beaten by the next session, he has the hospital and lab left, granted he could probably drag it out it wont take 2 full sessions. I guess after that hes going to try the 4v1 multiplayer? the one he was shitting on because people were saying the beta wasn't great.
