So after the big Szechuan sauce fiasco that happened just today, I figured it was time that the Rick and Morty fanbase- along with people who hate Rick and Morty too much- got their own thread.
Rick and Morty is an incredibly funny and clever show, but it's somehow managed to attract one of the worst fanbases in entertainment history. While a lot of it is just your garden-variety fandumb cringe, by far the worst fans are the ones who idolize Rick and pride themselves in being like him (despite the actual show making it clear that Rick's nihilism, abrasiveness, and worship of his own intellect has made him a fucking miserable shell of a person).
And then, of course, there are the annoying fans that circlejerk over how 2DEEP4U Rick and Morty is and how normies just don't appreciate it:
There's also been a super cringey fad on the worst application known to mankind, Musical.ly:
