Yeah, but he's been an absent parent for the past few years. He used to brag about how he pimped his wife out for extra cash before ditching her.
I thought they divorced. I also hoped that whole "pimping out the wife" thing was just a rumor.
I'm not sure if they ever legally got divorced. It sounds more like he just up and left. On the other hand, him pimping out his wife has been corroborated by at least two different people who knew him IRL.

Article Three: An article on Quinn's own fucking Twitter, linking to a known third-party troll, completely uncited, as comprehensive evidence.
As a Wiki editor for lolcow wiki, this is fucking baffling. Did whoever wrote this even know how to use fucking citations correctly? This is actually grounds for its own seperate rant.
ARTICLE ONE: The first information piece is fucking bolstered by the citation. The fucking article they link makes the case and does something they can't fucking do anything about, which is cite photographic and empirical evidence. It's also on an actual fucking journalistic website. You'd think that if they were going to try to dismiss #NotYourShield, they'd go with one of their own evidence-free publication. They didn't, which is surprising.
ARTICLE TWO: Dear god, this one. The article is cited and then presented as fact with no fucking context or any information given as to their relevance or importance. In fact, this article has no explanation whatsoever beyond the "ZOE QUINN BLOWS GAMERGATE WIDE OPEN" in the title.
What is the article itself? It's a battery of tweets Zoe Quinn made as evidence of how she's being threatened and harassed. It's from literally right the fuck after the initial Zoe Post broke and the likes of MundaneMatt and CameraLady began looking into the IGF. So Zoe's proclaiming she's being harassed - whilst sitting in on "harassing" IRC channels.
Let that sink in a second, and I'll continue.
The bulk of the content here isn't even about GamerGate, it's about /pol/. Zoe claims this is covering "one of 4chan's most noted raid channels," but even NewFags know that raiding got banned a while ago so m00t could keep the gubmint off his back. Wich really only leaves us with this article, then. It's all a battery of unsourced IRC links. At best, it shows she has third-party trolls (especially from /pol/), and was keeping a close eye on several people who were responsible for the initial reveal that led up to GamerGate. And therein, we have the most hilarious aspect of all of this:
None of this data is relatable to #NotYourShield. The Hashtag is referenced once, by some random /pol/ asshat, who are genuinely surprised by people throwing off the SJW yoke. Nothing is disproven by this article, and 99% of it has nothing to do with #NotYourShield.

I am unable to trace the exact source* of the term "truscum" (but I am still searching; all I know is that it was coined by a trans woman of the "tucute" variety), but it was originally a derogatory term used against "true transsexuals" and those who follow the medical definition of transgenderism. For some reason, people decided to "reclaim" the term and started self-identifying as truscum to show their solidarity with others who believe gender dysphoria is necessary to be transgender. Eventually, somebody decided to coin the term "transmedicalist" as a replacement for truscum", and now the community goes by both denominations. Surprisingly, as much as "tucute trans woman" sounds like IDCP, she is only responsible for the creation and spreading of "tucute" as a synonym for anti-truscum.

The funny part is that once "die cis scum" fell out of favor, people started claiming truscum coined the phrase, when they'd been opposed to it from the start.

Precisely. It's rather akin to 1984's Ministry of Truth, this whole focus on narratives and the constant switching of things around. Coin "die cis scum" and it falls out of favor? Proclaim that those who oppose it did it. Instead of focusing on concrete facts and being consistent with reality, they deliberately try to forget, to project, and to lie to change some grand narrative about how they're the most oppressed and everyone else are shitlords.
SJWs/tupukes/etc. will never admit they're wrong, often believe they cannot be wrong, that anyone who opposes them in any way is automatically wrong, and have extremely strong confirmation biases.
It is rather disturbing, to see the Orwellian pattern play out on the Internet, considering the Internet represents the ability to communicate ideas in a way unprecedented in human history. For instance, we are all currently speaking to each other despite any distance we may have from each other and in spite of time zones. Circumstances willing, someone will be able to come across these threads up in the far future and gain insight from the reasonable and a good laugh at the lolcows.
But, in a way, I'm not surprised. The Party relied on insulating members from any viewpoint other than Big Brother/the current Party platform. SJWs' echo chambers act in much the same way, where there is enforced orthodoxy, doublethink, constant scapegoating, the refusal to acknowledge objective facts, etc. to make sure everyone remains ideologically "pure." Independent thought, skepticism, striving toward objectivity, objective acknowledgement of the past, and free inquiry are all treated as tainted by any extremist group and SJWs are no exception.
