Smug Chris is the worst Chris, but it's also the most amusing to read about. So let's talk about Smug Chris.

I'm not sure why, but there's one particular line from the Get-Tar Region sub-episode that just feels like Smug Chris distilled into its purest form:

"All that is down is only the floor." Like he was trying to come across as so superior that instead of saying "All that is down is the floor" or "Only the floor is down" like, y'know, a normal person, he just had to combine the two for extra cool points. I mean, all of the sub-episodes were testaments to Chris' ego where he could rewrite situations where he was in the wrong into heroic tales where he's simultaneously an innocent victim and a cool action hero, but I think this is the defining one.
