First time creating a topic here, so i'll do my best to be thorough.
So this thread has been a long time coming. From previous threads you have probably heard of the Steven Universe fandom. Derived from a cartoon that's pretty much a giant ad for the LGBT community but designed for kids, it has devolved into so much more and pretty much is an exemplar for everything that is wrong with Tumblr. You probably expect me to start with the whole "bullying artists" thing. Ill get to that, but first I need to address something.
The SU fandom has a weird obsession with fetishes, ESPECIALLY vore.
That's just a sampler of images, there are probably SU vore pictures in the dozens for any main character in the show. In fact, the entire fandom is seemingly obsessed with inserting the main characters into their fetishes as much as possible
This could possibly be due to the fact that the SU fandom has autism on par with the Bronies at their peak. Most outspoken fans of the show have a personal "gemsona" which is shocking similar to the Sonic fandom and their Sonic OCs, up to but not limited to the whole "OC DO NOT STEAL" craze. That's right, people will actually come after you if you use their special self-insert without permission.
And then there is the whole bullying thing. If you are unaware, this is pretty much the mantra the majority of the SU community live by:
ANYONE who is relatively well known who draws a character skinnier than they need to be, or lightens the skin tone of any character (For example, light purple instead of dark purple) will be bum rushed with hate and accused of erasure. The most notable example is Zamii070, an attention whore who drew the gems in ways the community didn't like and was promptly bullied to the point she attempted suicide.
