A Sonichu fanfic that doesn't make CWCville a dystopia, doesn't give Rosechu sex issues, or show Mayor Chandler "as he really is." Yikes, I'm really breaking the norm on this one.
While writing Obscurity I realized the story of Flame and the Sunstone was actually interesting but wasn't really covered that well in the original Sonichu.

The Sunstone(Pt. 1)

Spoiler: The Vision

Magi-Chan was meditating in his mountain cave when he had a vision. On Sunstone Island there was three men in dark colors standing over an unconscious Flame, making their way to the Sunstone. One of them placed their hands on it when Magi-Chan snapped back into reality.
He contacted Sonichu telepathically, "Sonichu, no time to explain, you and the combo get to Sunstone Island NOW!"
"Uh, sure. No problem."
"I'll meet you there."
Magi-Chan teleported to Sunstone island and made his way to the legendary Sunstone atop the tall mountain. To his surprise Flame was fine, he was laying on his chair near the Sunstone, no dark clothed men in sight. Magi-Chan realized he'd had seen the future.
"Ho ho ho hiya Magi-Chan."
"Hello Flame."
"What brings you to Sunstone Island?"
"I had a vision that three men were trying to steal the legendary Sunstone."
"Ho ho ho ho! Do not worry Magi-Chan! As you see, no men are here. No men. None!"
"I think they might be coming. My visions are never wrong you know."
"My family has protected the Sunstone for 600 years, I will protect it. Me."
"You have all this time, and I know you will continue, but I have the chaotic combo coming just to be safe."
"I will not be needing it, but I like company."
Sonichu, Rosechu, Blake and the chaotic combo arrived.
Sonichu waved, "Yo, Magi-Chan! We took the fastest boat here. What's up."
"Hohoho! Welcome Sonichu!"
"We got here as soon as we can!" Bubbles said.
"Yes," Wild joined in. "But, what's wrong? Everything seems..."
"Fine!" Punchy was angry, "Magi-Chan, are you fucking with us?! What's the deal?!"
"The 'deal' is I saw Flame get attacked by men trying to steal the sunstone. It must have been a vision from the future."
"No worries hohoho! Nobody can take the Sunstone from me!"
"I did once." Bubbles' husband stood beside her and grinned at Flame. Bubbles smacked his shoulder, "Ow, what? I did steal the sunstone!"
"And we stopped you." Punchy grinned right back at Blake, "just like we'll stop these guys."
"Hohoho I am telling you as I told Magi-Chan, I will not be needing the help." Flame stood up and stretched his wings. "I am a sunbird you see!" He flew up above their heads. "We sunbirds have always—"
POP! Flame hit the ground, he wasn't moving.
"Heavens!" Angelica ran over to Flame, "F-Flame!" She checked him for blood, he wasn't bleeding. A tiny bronze pellet rolled out from under his feathers. Angelica picked it up, "What is that?"
"Let me take a look." Angelica handed the pellet to Blake, "It looks like…an airsoft bullet."
Magi-Chan picked up Flame, "He's breathing, that thing you found must of knocked him out."
"Yeah, airsoft isn't meant to kill or anything, I used to play all the time. The do hurt like a bitch though."
Sonichu looked at Flame, "Who'd use an airsoft gun against Flame"
In the distance, they heard the shooter. "TAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA! We got the little faggot!"
"Yeah yeah, that's sickness bro!"
"Hell yeah! TAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA!" The voices were getting louder, whoever shot Flame was approaching.
Sonichu was always the brave leader, this time was no different. "Rosey, get Flame to his hut! Bubbles, go down the back of this mountain and circle around to the dock! If they try to run away, stop them there. Angelica, stay in front of the rest of us and use Steel Wing to stop those bullets. Magi-Chan, you and Wild stay near the Sunstone. Punchy, Blake." Sonichu had his hands in fists, "We stand behind Angelica, ready to knock these guys out! ARE WE CLEAR!"
"Yes!" Everyone chanted in unison. Bubbles sprinted away down the mountain. Wild stood near the Sunstone and Magi-Chan floated above it. Rosechu scooped up Flame and ran towards his hut. Angelica jumped in front of the other three, her wings shielding them and herself.
Sonichu looked at his former rival, "Ready?"
Blake smiled, "You guys managed to stop me after all, and now I'm on your side. We got this."
Angelica yelled, "I see them. Here they come!"
Just like Magi-Chan saw, three men dressed in dark camouflage made their way up the mountain.
"Wait what? What the fuck is this? That bitch said the fucking bird was the only one protecting the rock."
"I don't know man."
"Your fucking leads are always garbage Stryker!"
"Yo, shut the fuck up. We'll just shoot these faggots down too." The three men pointed their guns at Angelica. "Dust this bitche's ass tahahaa." They fired, but Angelica's wings deflected their airsoft pellets. "What the fuck? This is unrealistic!" They put their guns down.
Punchy took this opportunity and kept forward, punching the man on the left out cold.
"THE FUCK THE FUCK THE FUUUUUCCCKKKK?!"
"I got this Commander." The man on the right pulled out a blue grenade and slammed it down in front of Angelica. It flashed and the sonichus were blinded by a bright light. The two men cartwheeled past the first line of defense. As Wild and Magi-Chan regained their vision, they were knocked aside.
Stryker placed his hands on the Sunstone, "Faggot! Help me get this thing out of here!"
The Sunstone broke into seven pieces. Four were shot into the sky. One stood alone on the pedestal. One landed by Blake, and one landed by Stryker. Blake fell onto his piece and pretended to be knocked out. Once everyone recovered from the flash grenade they noticed Stryker and the other were gone.
"No! God dammit!" Punchy stomped the ground.
Angelica pointed to the shard on the pedestal, "Guys, look at that." On the shard was another sunbird like Flame, yellow instead of red. He was an older bird with a long grey beard.
"Hello Blake." The old bird said, "You can get up now, thank you for protecting that piece of the Sunstone."
"How do you know my name?"
"Heh heh heh. I am a new face to you but you are not to me. My name is Solairo. I am, well…how do I put this to you? I am the first sunbird. I created the Sunstone and sealed myself into it. I guess you can say I am the Sunstone itself. I knew one day the Sunstone would be in true peril. I knew it would shatter and I'd be released. And here I am heh heh." Solairo looked at the pedestal. "This shard will keep order in this world for a time, you guys need to find the other 5 pieces, one is with Stryker as we speak, the other 4 went north, south, east, and west from here. Find them and bring them back."
"How?"
"Give me that shard." Blake gave Solairo the shard he saved. Solairo held in in his wings and broke it into four pieces, he gave one to Blake and the other three to Sonichu, "Feel how hot they are? When you are near other pieces they will be warmer than if they are not near. The closer you are, the hotter they will feel. Time is short. Magi-Chan, you stay here and I'll teach you about the Sunstone and it's prophecy. It will help your friends find the remaining pieces. Others, please bring my pieces back here."
"Understood." Punchy pointed at the man he knocked out. "What do we do with this one?"
"Take him to my cave in the mountains, see what kind of information you can get out of him about this Stryker guy."
"What must be done must be done. You guys can save the Sunstone, you must. Terrible things will happen if you don't!"

Ok, so with taint business and all I have no idea how many of y'all are on Sonichu right now, so enjoy when it's like Tuesday and you're like "oh yeah, we do have other forums."

Spoiler: Chapter 2 (Dark Days)

Stryker and his remaining accomplice ran back to the dock, the Sunstone shard firmly in Stryker's hand.
"Ok ok ok. We got some of it. The fucking bitch is gonna have to deal with it."
"Yeah."
They made it back to the dock and stopped, "Wait what? The fuck man? Where's our fucking boat?"
"Looking for something?" Bubbles stood waist deep in the water, behind her was a motorized raft.
"That's our fucking boat bitch, what the fuck?"
Bubbles smiled smugly, "Correction" she lifted her arms and a whirlpool pulled the raft under water. A large POP was heard followed with bubbles on the surface of the water, "That …WAS… your fucking boat."
"Fuck this, unload on this bitch!"
Stryker's accomplice pointed his gun at her, Bubbles fired a jet of water from the ocean and the gun went flying out of his hand. She fired a larger one at his chest, he was sent backwards. She began moving her hands back and forth, the tide began growing higher.
"Fuck this!" Stryker pulled out a radio from his pocket. "Requesting evac! We need some backup, Malcom is captured and Edison is down! Repeat! Malcom is---"
"You don't need to repeat yourself!" A strange voice said, it was a woman's voice. What made it so odd was it didn't come from the radio, it came from the sky. "Do you have the Sunstone?"
"Tahahaaaaaa! Yeah. Get us outta here! This blue bitch is unreal!"
"Oh, don't worry about her. I may not have much left, but to me she is nothing." Dark clouds formed above the island, a ray of silver light shot through the clouds, hitting Bubbles. She didn't make a sound as she fell limp into the water.
"TAHAHAAAAAAA! That was SICK!"
"Yes. I suppose that was quite sick indeed. Now, you two stand close together, I'll teleport you away."
Stryker and Edison stood back to back and disappeared as the unconscious body of Bubbles washed up on shore.
"Bubbles!" Blake ran towards her. He picked her up and started shaking her shoulders, "Wake up baby! It's Blake! It's ok, please wake up!" Nothing.
"Blake!" Magi-Chan used telepathy from Flame's hut, "Get her up here now! Solairo says he needs to see her." Tears in his eyes, Blake brought his wife to see Solairo. Magi-Chan had made a makeshift bed for Bubbles to lie on while Solairo examined her.
Solairo sighed, "This is not good, she's been struck by moon's glow."
"Moon's glow?" Blake was kneeling by his wife.
"Yes, a magical attack, it's used by the Lunnu, a old tribe from my time that drew their power from the moon, like how I draw from the sun."
"So, what can we do?"
"Gather the remaining shards of the Sunstone, she will stay this way without it's full power."
Magi-Chan could see the anger in Blake, "Blake, go home. Get some rest with the others, when I have something about the remaining shards I'll contact you."
Blake didn't say anything, he left.
"I need to know more about the Sunstone." Magi-Chan said to Solairo.
"Yes, but first I need to know what you already know."
"Flame told us it control how things grow, without it we may grow extra limbs or trees could grow legs and walk."
" No, it does far much more. 600 years ago, I was once a moonbird and a servant to the Queen of the Lunnu, Serene. Serene was a fair queen over the moon worshipers. One day in her studies she discovered deep under the earth a stone would grant her ancient powers, this was the legendary Moonstone, forgotten over the years. She dedicated three years in trying to find it's location. I watched her, our just queen, become haggard and obsessed with finding the Moonstone. She grew insane over it, the Lunnu let her keep her title as queen, but quickly choose another leader. I stayed by her side as I was her most loyal servant."
"What does this have to do with the Sunstone?" Magi-Chan grew impatient.
"Quiet! To understand the Sunstone, you must understand the Moonstone! Queen Serene locked herself in a tower trying to find the cave where the Moonstone was. I brought her meals, cleaned her room, and begged her to stop obsessing over the Moonstone. I feared obsession might kill her. One day she finally left her room, she told me she figured out where the Moonstone was, and I was coming with her. I thought she was crazy, but she was right. In a cave we found a gigantic crystal shaped like a giant cresent moon, it was the legendary Moonstone. When my queen touched it, years faded away and she was the beautiful queen she was once before. I told her we should bring it back home, people would see she wasn't insane after all. She told me no, her home was now this cave, but I should return to the Lunnu. I didn't want to leave my queen, but I couldn't disobey her, so I left. When I made it back home…everyone was dead and everything was destroyed. I ran back to Serene to tell her, she laughed at me. She destroyed my home and killed my family and friends because they thought she was crazy. She told me to leave or she'd have to kill me too. I came to this island. The sky grew dark, I knew it was Serene. I looked to the sky and a sunbeam shot through the clouds and hit me, my feathers turned a bright yellow. I knew I was no longer a moonbird."
"You became the first sunbird?"
"Yes. I knew what I had to do. I used all the energy I had to create the Sunstone. The new stone absorbed my body and the sky's grew clear and bright again."
"So the Sunstone is a balance. It counters the power of the Moonstone."
"Yes. Without the Sunstone, the sky's will grow dark once more and block the sun, plants will wither and die, animals will starve."
Magi-Chan had more questions, "What happened to Serene?"
"Like me, she was absorbed, but by the Moonstone. These stones are alive, they think and they need energy, when the Sunstone was created, the Moonstone consumed her in hopes it could get it's energy back."
"How do you know this?"
"Like you, I have visions too. When the Sunstone took me I saw her in the cave with the Moonstone. She grew angry at the loss of her powers, she began slamming her fists against the Moonstone, then she disappeared. Without the Sunstone, the Moonstone will release her again. The shard we have should keep her contained in the Moonstone, for a time."
"Why did the Sunstone break?"
"Defense, I couldn't let someone have both stones, so if the wrong person placed their hands on the Sunstone, it would shatter. I hoped I'd be capable of returning the pieces if I had too."
"Don't worry Solairo, my friends will get those remaining shards."
"I am thankful. Now, let's go to what's left of the Sunstone, with it's energy we should be able to have our visions of the missing shards."
Magi-Chan and Solairo left Bubbles and went to the Sunstone's pedestal. Magi-Chan closed his eyes and began to meditate. Minutes later, he found the first missing shard and couldn't be more relieved.
The first shard was located right in CWCville.

eBay shannegians, Islam in our McNuggets, times sure are hard.
But every cloud has a silver lining, I managed to get through a shitty work week to bring you The Sunstone and Pik's Piks of the Week. I feel pretty accomplished, (it doesn't take much for me too feel this way)

Spoiler: Chapter 3 (Blake's Sorrow)

"Seriously, in CWCville!?," Sonichu thought the news was too good to be true.
"Yes," Magi-Chan told him telepathically, "I saw the Jewelry store where a Sonichu Ball was once there. Someone must have found the shard and brought it there. Are you with the mayor?"
"Yes he is." The voice was mayor Chandler's."Sonichu told me all about the Sunstone and what happened to Bubbles. How is she?"
"Solairo said nothing will change until we get the Sunstone whole again."
"Don't worry Magi-Chan. The city's resources are yours, as always. I'll get a helicopter to fly you guys wherever you need to. Do not be afraid to ask for anything. Fixing the Sunstone is top priority."
"Thank you Chris." Magi-Chan returned to his meditations.
The Sonichus sat with the mayor in his office. "Alright, we have the location of the first shard, and it's literally right below us. Sonichu, go to Kay's and get that shard here, the rest of you stay put, Magi-Chan could contact us again at any moment."
"Alright, I'm off." Sonichu left for the jewelers.
Chris looked around, "Where's Blake?"
Wild knew the answer, "Chris, Bubbles is dying, It's too much for Blake to handle. He's at their home right now."
Chris sighed, "I can't imagine what Blake is going trough right now, but I'm going to try to talk to him. You guys stay here and stay alert."
"Yes sir!"
Chris drove to Blake and Bubble's house by the shore. He knocked on the door.
"Piss off!"
Blake accidentally left the door unlocked, Chris let himself in. Blake was in their living room, the lights were off. He was lying on a couch with a bottle of vodka in his hand. Chris turned on the lights.
"Ow! I said piss off!"
"Blake It's me, Chris."
"I don't care! For the third time. Piss. Off." Blake began to cry, "I don't want to be seen like this!" He vomited on the floor near him.
"I'm sorry about Bubbles."
"Yeah yeah yeah, whatever. Just leave me alone."
"Blake, please"
"Piss off faggot!"
Chris remained calm, "Sitting alone in your house isn't going to bring back your wife, but we know what can. Blake, I need you. The combo needs you. Your wife needs you."
Blake turned his head towards Chris, "Did she tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
Blake got up and stumbled up the stairs, Chris followed him. Blake almost fell as he went into another dark room. He turned on the light. It was a pale green room with pastel sea creatures painted on the walls, in the middle of the room was a crib, with an egg resting in it.
Blake started laughing, "Imma be a daddy! Bubbles was going to be a mommy."
"I don't know what to say,"
"Don't" Blake took a swig of vodka.
Chris took the bottle from his hand, "You going to be a father, you drunk! If you don't want to help the mother of your child, fine. We'll save her for you. You're pathetic Blake, I thought you were better than this."
Blake grabbed his bottle back, "You need to leave now."
"Ok fine. I will." Chris left Blake and returned to the others in his office.
Back in his office, Sonichu has successfully retrieved the shard, it was in the middle of the conference table, the others were congratulating him.
"It was easy," Sonichu said humbly, "The owner of the jewelry store didn't even want it. He told me some guy found it and sold it to him. He tried to break it into pieces to make a necklace out of it but he couldn't. He said a diamond tip drill couldn't even scratch it. He was so frustrated with it he just gave it to me."
Punchy laughed, "Ha! Maybe the others will be just as easy, maybe Stryker will just give up his as easily."
It was good to joke a bit at a time like this.
Wild noticed Chris had returned. "Sonichu got the shard! Only 4 more to go! Where's Blake?"
"Blake won't be joining us. He…needs more time.
Magi-Chan contacted them again, "Chris, how goes the hunt?"
"We got the first one."
"Excellent, Solairo managed to see the location of the second one."
"Alright! Where is it."
"It's about 50 miles north of Sunstone Island." He paused, "It's at the bottom of the ocean. About a league down"
The chaotic combo looked at each other, they knew only one member could dive that deep into the water.
Bubbles.
Rosechu spoke up,"What do we do?"
Chris sighed, "I don't know, but we need to think of something."
Sonichu's face lit up, "Wait! There's another water type! Chris, remember those Sonichus in Minnesota? There's another water type Rosechu there."
"That's right! Kitty! Nice thinking Sonichu! I'm going to contact her right now."
"Alright!" Punchy said, "You guys get Kitty and take care of that next shard."
"Where are you going?" Chris inquired.
"I'm going to Magi-Chan's mountain. We still have our prisoner, I'm going to find out what he knows."

Also, in my sneak peak of this in the Obscurity thread, you may have noticed the title was gonna be The Sunstone Chronicles. There's no big reason why I dropped Chronicles from the title, I just thought it was unnecessary and not the best choice of words.

Spoiler: Chapter 4 (Answers)

Punchy was nervous, but he'd never show it. Once he left the town he began taking deep breaths.
"You can do this Punch!"
Punchy decided he should be the one who would interrogate their prisoner, he was the most intimidating Sonichu, and if this guy needed to be rouged up, Punchy could deal the blows. It was Punchy who dragged him to the mountain cave, and Wild built a makeshift cell for him. The prisoner was most likely awake now, so it was time to start asking questions. As he was heading to the mountains, Punchy recalled what Chris told him, "We want him to give us answers, we don't want him dead, do not kill him, do not let him kill himself, and do not let him starve." Punchy stopped at CWCville market and picked up a sandwich and a bottle of water. The sandwich was a simple turkey on rye with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise.
Punchy was getting hungry, "Heh, he doesn't need the whole sandwich does he?", he pulled half the sandwich out and began eating.
When he got to the cave he realized his assumption was right, the prisoner who tried to steal the sunstone was awake and sitting in his cell.
"Hello Malcolm. Yes, we know who you are, thanks to your not so private line that the whole island could hear."
Malcolm said nothing.
"You're probably hungry, and as much as I'd like to see you fucking starve, I have orders." Punchy placed the paper bag containing the other half of the sandwich and the water between the bars and on the cell floor. "Eat!"
Malcolm walked slowly to the sandwich and opened it up. "What the hell is this?"
"It's a turkey sandwich, never seen one before?"
"I ain't eating this shit!"
"Don't tell me, you're a vegetarian."
"I want Doritos and Mountain Dew."
"I want a billion dollars, what's your point?"
"Dude, I only eat Doritos and drink Mountain Dew"
The thought of that diet made Punchy gag a little, "Listen, I have orders to make sure you eat something. Food. I don't count Doritos as food. So either you eat this fucking sandwich or I force it down your throat. Your choice."
"Fuck off, it's probably poisoned."
Punchy grabbed the sandwich and took a bite before giving it back, "it's not."
Malcolm wasn't happy, but he began eating. He was about to drink the water, he paused and looked at Punchy again.
"Really?" Punchy sighed and took a gulp of the water. This was good enough for Malcolm, who quickly finished off the bottle.
"Alright then, time for the fun to begin." Punchy put on a large pair of headphones.
"Yo, what are those for?"
"So I don't hear this," Punchy waved a jigglypuff into the cave. As it sang Malcolm began to fall asleep. When it was done Punchy took off the headphones, gave the Pokémon some cash, and proceeded to tie Malcolm to a chair.
"Now we wait." Punchy told the jigglypuff.
Punchy utilized the time he had to call up Chris, "Hey Punchy, how's things on your end?"
"Fine, though it was hard to get Malcolm to eat. He told me he only consumes Doritos and Mountain Dew."
"What?! That's disgusting!"
"Yeah, I actually gagged when he told me, but he ate the sandwich I gave him."
"Good."
"Now he's sleeping, how are things in CWCville?"
"Kitty took the next flight here, she'll arrive in a few hours."
"Alright then, keep me posted."
"You too. Bye Punchy."
"Later."

When Malcolm woken up he noticed he was tied to the chair. Across from him Punchy was sitting in a similar chair, the jigglypuff was sleeping on a couch outside the cell.
Punchy was staring at him, "Good mourning bitch!"
Malcolm spit in his face. Punchy calmly wiped the spit off, stood up, and punched Malcolm in the face. His chair was knocked over.
Punchy stood him back up and returned to his chair, "Let's not do that again."
"Bitch! What do you want?!?"
"Oh, well since you asked so nicely, I want to know who you work for."
"I ain't telling your bitch ass!"
"You aren't telling my bitch ass…yet. I have my ways to make you talk."
"Fuck you!"
Punchy hit him in the face again, this time Malcolm's chair stayed up, "I can do this all day."
Malcolm spit out blood, "Me too."
Punchy used his electric powers to shock him, Malcolm screamed but laughed after.
"Who do you work for?!"
"FAGGOT!" Punchy kicked him in the stomach.
"Again! Who do you work for?!"
"YOUR MOM!"
"I DON'T EVEN HAVE A MOM! I WAS CREATED BY A RAINBOW!"
"THAT'S PRETTY GAY BRO!" Malcolm laughed again.
Punchy took the back of his chair and threw it on the ground.
"TELL ME WHAT I WANT TO KNOW!"
"FUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK YYYOOOOOUUUUU! FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU! RAINBOW FAGGOT!" Malcolm was laughing hysterically.
Punchy stood him back up, "We're done for now." He began to walk out of the cell.
"I guess the bitch ass faggot can't handle me!"
"Oh, I'll be back!" Punchy walked outside the cave. He began punching rocks in anger.
"Punchy!"
Punchy knew that voice looked down the mountain, "Blake?"
Blake made his way up to him, "Hey. How the questioning?"
Punchy sighed, "Not well, Malcolm just keeps calling me a faggot and laughing, I had to stop or I'd beat his ass to death."
"I'm not surprised, I want to help. I can't just stay home and hope for the best, I want to do something. I want to find out who did this to my wife!"
"And how will you do that?"
"Let me go see him."
"Be my guest!"
Blake went into the cave and stood outside the cell.
"AHAAA! Are you one of those rainbow faggots too?!"

"Very well." Blake went outside and joined Punchy.

Blake took out his cell phone, "I need to make a few calls. You should head to CWCville market and get that popcorn we like…it's going to be an interesting show."

Spoiler: Chapter 5 (Deep)

Chris was on a large fishing boat docked in CWCville harbor. "Ready?"
"I…I guess so." Kitty seemed nervous. She had only met Chris and Sonichu once before, and to her they were her savior.
"Kitty, if you don't want to do this…"
"No! No no no. I do. I really do! You guys did so much for me and my friends. This is the least I can do."
"Alright then," Sonichu threw a duffel bag onto the boat and climbed in. Kitty followed.
Chris knew where to go, "Magi-Chan contacted me again this mourning, he got us some more details, we still need to go 50 miles north of Sunstone, find a small island with one coconut tree, go west 2.6 miles, then dive straight down." He grabbed the wheel of the boat and fired up the motor, "let's go!"
As CWCville dock began to shrink away, Sonichu noticed Kitty had sat on the floor, legs crossed, and eyes closed. He knew what she was doing, but thought it was odd, the only person he ever saw meditating before was Magi-Chan.
"I didn't know you meditated as well."
Kitty opened her eyes, "Yeah, we all do back home. Swift taught us. He said you don't need to be a psychic type to benefit from meditating. It helps clear your mind before you need to go on an important mission and it can help you tap in to your true potential. I've noticed that I've become stronger since I began meditating on a regular basis, I also feel less afraid of what I might have to face. Swift taught us to not fear what might happen, since it might not happen as well. Fear only makes you less prepared for what will come."
Sonichu wondered why Magi-Chan never even bothered to tell his Chaotic Combo this. Kitty attempted to return to her meditation when she was interrupted again, this time by someone teleporting onto the boat.
Chris and Sonichu were surprised, but Kitty calmly said, "I had a feeling you'd show up. I was beginning to feel your presence."
"Hope you two don't mind the intrusion." Swift said to Chris and Sonichu, "but in my mediation I had an overwhelming feeling you guys will need my help. Kitty, you may return to your meditation, I will entertain the others." Kitty nodded and closed her eyes.
Something was always different about Swift, before the others were cured he didn't feel his team was inferior, in their world they were the strongest fighters, but each one of them had their own weaknesses, their own quirks, their own personalities. One day, he saw the fates of himself and his friends. Slashed, gunned up, and assassinated. He was too selfish to let this happen to himself his friends, so he stole 5 dittos and forced them to transform into the Chaotic Combo. He rallied his friends and teleported them to another dimension. His friends were safe, because of him. The teleportation changed them. They had become useless idiots, but they were still breathing. They didn't remember what happened, but Swift did. They thought Sonichu saved them, but Swift always knew he was the one who saved them.
"Swift!" Swift looked at the other two on the boat taking amongst themselves. He was being contacted telepathically.
"Yes, what is it?"
"Where are you? I need you here!"
"I'm with the ones who want to fix the Sunstone."
"And what do you plan to do to stop them?"
"Queen Serene, I have told you many times. Do not question what I do. I have a plan and I prefer not to share with anyone, including you. You must had faith in me."
"Swift, I'm beginning to think you can't be trusted."
"My queen, I have done nothing for you to think that. Who gave Stryker and his men the location of the Sunstone, who saved them from being killed on Sunstone?"
"Do not make me regret trusting you."
"I'd never."
Swift looked at Sonichu and Chris, neither noticed Swift was communicating with someone else. His secret was safe.
"So Swift, I have a question for you."
"What is it, Sonichu?"
"Why did you teach your combo how to mediate?"
Swift laughed, "You mean why didn't Magi-Chan teach yours? Mediation isn't just for psychic powers, it's for power in general. Everyone can benefit from meditation, look at Kitty. Can you believe she used to get drinking straws stuck in her eye? Now she's one of the strongest water types in the world. It's brought us all closer together as well, we can feel when another is in danger, or even if another is going to be in danger. Look at her Sonichu, not even this bumpy ride can break her concentration. As for why you guys don't meditate, Magi-Chan doesn't seen to want to teach you. You'll have to ask him why not."
"When this is all over, will you teach me?"
Swift grinned, "I will, when this is all over."
Chris budded in, "Heh, a little team building is never bad in my eyes. Swift, I can't thank you enough for you and Kitty helping us."
"It's the least I can do. Look, I do believe I see a small island ahead of us."
"Alright! Hold on everyone, I'm turning west."
Swift went to Kitty and held her hand, "It's almost time Kitty, are you ready?" Kitty opened her eyes and spoke calmly, "Yes, and with you here there's no way I can fail."
"2.6 miles, on the dot." Chris stopped the boat.
Sonichu pulled the small sunstone shard out of his bag, "It's warm, we're close to the next piece"
Kitty stood at the boat's edge, "Straight down?"
"Straight down. That's what Magi-Chan told me." Sonichu got a rope out of the bag and tied one end around Kitty. "If you need to get back up tug on the rope twice. Good luck."
"Thanks." She dove in.
About 20 minutes later, Sonichu noticed the shard was erring warmer and the rope was gaining slack. "She's got it! She's coming back up."
What came up wasn't Kitty, but rather a giant Marlin. It flopped on the boat.
Sonichu freaked out. "It ate the shard and Kitty! What do we do?!"
Swift calmly used a psychic blast to kill the fish. "It didn't eat Kitty, I'd know if it did."
Just then Kitty climbed into the boat with the shard in hand, she used an ice beam to freeze the fish, "Not a bad catch if I do say so myself. This jerk tried to eat me but I managed to bubble beam it up here. Looks like we're getting a nice fish dinner when we get home. She laughed and handed the shard to Sonichu, "On our way home, let's drop this off to Sunstone Island."
"That's a great idea." Chris started up the engine again and they were off to Sunstone Island.
Once there, Swift told the group, "You guys go ahead, I'll stay with the boat. If there's trouble I'll contact Kitty."
They nodded and headed up to Flame's hut. Once they were gone Swift was able to contact Serene again.
"Are you angry with me, my queen?"
"You betrayed me!"
"I have not. Let them have this piece. Stryker still holds one with you in your cave. Without it, the Sunstone will never be complete again."
"Why did you let them have this one?!"
"If I fought them now, they've killed me. And who would be you top servant now? Stryker and his merry band? Keep that in mind since you probably want to kill me now too."
"The Sunstone must never be complete, you know that!"
"I do, and I promise you it never will, but you must not forget the deal we have made!"

Yeah yeah yeah, I know. I'm going secret intentions again. But none of you would've guessed Swift. Why has Swift sided with Serene? What was this deal? Where are the two remaining shards? When I finished Obscurity I realized how dark it was, so when I write this I ask myself, "What if Chris read this?" Granted if he wrote this the chaotic combo would've won in Chapter 1 but still he's not gonna be terribly offended like with other fanfics.

Chris, Sonichu, and Kitty made there way to Solario, the sunstone shard firmly in Kitty's grip.
"Heh, I've been expecting you Sonichu. You as well Kitty."
"H-how did you…"
"Like your friend Swift and Magi-Chan, I am psychic as well. My name is Solario, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Kitty didn't say anything, still in shock, she simply handed the shard to Solario.
"Yes, this is good. thank you."
"M-may I see Bubbles?"
"Of course."
The three entered Flame's hut, where Bubbles was lying motionless on a bed.
"Is something wrong Kitty?" Chris asked.
"It's just odd, she looks just like me, but here she is and here I am. Has she gotten better?"
"No." Solario said coldly from the outside door, "and she won't until the sunstone is whole again."
Kitty fought back tears, then she spoke calmly, "I see, let's go guys. Swift is still waiting for us." Sonichu, Chiris, and Kitty left and headed back down the mountain.
Solario noticed something strange, Bubbles began slightly tossing and turning in her bed.
"Bubbles? Magi-Chan! Get in here!"
Magi-Chan ran in, "What is it?"
"Bubbles has begun to move!"
"But how?" Bubble's eyes abruptly opened she began screaming.
"SOLARIO! KNOW THIS! YOUR PEOPLE ARE NOT GONE! I SEE A GIRL, A LITTLE GIRL ESCAPED SERENE'S ATTACK. SHE HAD ONE SON AND HE HAD ONE SON AND HE HAD ONE SON AND HE HAD ONE SON."
"Bubbles! What happened!?"
"ONE SON AND HE HAD ONE SON AND HE HAD ONE DAUGHTER AND SHE HAD ONE SON AND HE HAD ONE SON AND HE HAD…"
"She's just going to repeat this! I don't understand!"
"…SON!" Bubbles fell silent, her eyes still open.
Solario was shocked, "I suppose this means..."
"THERE IS A DESCENDANT! ONE MAN WITH THE BLOOD OF THE LUNNU PEOPLE! MAGI-CHAN! FIND THIS MAN! MOON'S GLOW WILL NOT HURT HIM, HE WILL BE STRONGER WITH IT."
"Bubbles, I…"
"I AM NOT BUBBLES, I AM THE THOUSAND VOICES OF THOSE FALLEN BY SERENE!"
"I…my people? My friends?"
"SOLARIO WE KNOW WHAT YOU DID YOU SAVED MILLIONS! HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF SOLARIO. HAVE FAITH IN YOUR FRIENDS MAGI-CHAN."
Bubbles closed her eyes and returned to her motionless state.
"Solario, what was that?"
"My people. My people who died, their spirits remained and they managed to use Bubbles. They …spoke to me."
"They said something about one descendant of your tribe. We need to find out what we can."
"I will do what I can about this, you continue to focus on the sunstone."
"Very well."
Magi-Chan went back outside and sat next to the Sunstone. He returned to his meditations. "The next shard, the next shard." He thought to himself.
He began to see a vision.
