I know cross posts and reposting yourself is not super great here, but I think this is particularly relevant. I made this post in Kevin's thread and wanted it here so people have a condensed version of events. I've been strong in the camp of "one of the tranch people had a break with reality" camp. I believe Penny, but perhaps a different tranny, had a break with reality and genuinely believes all this shit is real. Here is why:
a) There is 0 evidence for anything and they claim the threats were public. Either its straight lying, or there was a coded threat only apparent to the victim which points to someone seeing "signs" where there are none.

b) The things they describe such as being followed or having their tires inflated are the kind of delusions that are very common as they can't exactly be disproven but also are not really indicative of malice. With temps changing rapidly anywhere, tire pressure changes naturally. People drive in the same direction as others.

The two verified instances of problems didn't happen to them. The reporter received a threat and a house belonging to two old people burned down. The first you could argue was to do with the tranch, but it felt more like a "shut the fuck up bitch" type of threat than something directly at the subject of her reporting. The reporter herself hasn't said anything, however she has made them take down posts re: what happened to her making me think something did happen there. The second I see no link to them whatsoever, and this points to the idea of finding links where there are none which is a prime sign of mental dysfunction.

c) Penny's LARP seems super genuine to me and if its all acting I'll give him a nod because it sounds like the typical stuff you hear crazies spout.

d) The big thing for me is they can't name the villain in their story. Its all a very vague non-entity that is more reminiscent of a boogeyman. Its vague "fascists" or "bigots" which doesn't actually tell you anything about who or what that could be beyond their politics being different than the tranch's. They mention the term militia, but won't identify which and it comes off as vague as the other terms they're throwing around. The reason I find this notable is this group LOVES "naming the bully" and telling everyone exactly who crossed them. If you replace the name of the aggressor in this situation with "CIA" and trannies with "schizophrenic people" it reads exactly the same. At the same time I don't give them enough credit to maintain a lie even in a shitty state for this long.

I want to be clear I myself am not a doctor, but for the sake of transparency I've had some mental health low points and spent *a lot* of time in psych hospitals. I know what people in there speak like and a lot of the language is carbon-copies of each other's. Its almost like when the human brain snaps it snaps in a similar way no matter who the person is that it belongs to. Penny's twitter posts read like conversations I've had in wards with some of the worse off patients.

EDIT: Of course, the internet is a shitty way to try and evaluate mental health but the signs are pretty clear here and the amount of tweeting gives us insight typical blog posts do not.

Does anyone know what the actual wool is like? The reviews on Etsy seem positive, but I imagine that anyone buying the wool is probably buying into the trans backstory, and as such would be unlikely to leave negative feedback.
Quite a few of the reviews seem sarcastic, they mention that they love how there is still alpaca feed in the wool as it makes it rustic, or some shit.

Like you can have solids that are acidic (either in water where they remain solid or solid forms of acids). Like if you get the solid form of sulfuric acid its still sulfuric acid and not like potential acid or whatever.
I would say it's more likely that they tried to get across the threat of something dangerous like quicklime, but failed because they're dumb and think "acidic" is a synonym for "something that burns you without fire".

(For reference, this would burn you through an exothermic reaction with the moisture on your skin. It's not acidic, but it doesn't look so different to an observer.)

Not that an envelope full of quicklime is a huge threat, but I'd say it could burn you pretty bad if you're stupid enough to get an unidentified white substance in the mail and touch that with your hands.

Who came up with the name 'Tenacious Unicorn Ranch'? It sounds stupid, and it's a mouthful. Kinda sounds like a bad translation of a yugioh card.
I have a pack of bootleg Yugioh cards I got from a friend way back as a gag gift. Use them as bookmarks. This is exactly the kind of shit on them. Between "Lightning Judgement Man" and "Skilled Labour Durk(sic) Wizard", it would complete the set.

Also, why is it that these 'tism trannies always get obsessed with doing something they don't know how to actually do? Phil and his bikes, Chris and his art, Zach and his... stats? Science?

Its definitely not something that you could make into a valid threat lol. I'm just trying and failing to point out that acids are still considered acids outside of solutions, so "acid powder" is a thing (and from what we're later told a thing they actually received in the form of perfectly edible diet supplement powder).

A brief summary from Kevin's thread, based on several people's opinions: all evidence points to absolute garbage.
I'm not going to dig up the specific image, but a poster highlighted multiple sections of a skein (if I'm using that word correctly) to illustrate how inconsistent the quality is.
