Arguably the AR pistol is a lot more practical than a .300WinMag precision bolt gunAnd they traded what was probably a perfectly good bolt action for it. One of the worst brands on the market.

This is the sort of environmental damage that spreads and won't respect the property boundaries unfortunately. They may well have done enough damage to turn the neighbouring lots into dust bowls within the next few years.ugh...I suppose the only silver lining is that it's a relatively small area that's getting ecologically annihilated,
well damn then, can't wait for the very final picture ITT being one from a distance, that looks like someone dropped a mini-nuke onto Colorado, making all around it desolate...This is the sort of environmental damage that spreads and won't respect the property boundaries unfortunately. To put this into perspective: A child born today will grow up, graduate high school, graduate from college, get married, and have their own children strapped in a car seat while they drive by a lot that is visibly scarred and stunted from misuse and abuse. These landscapes can take multiple generations to recover. It's not a simple matter of scattering some seeds from Home Depot and spraying it with a hose.It takes DECADES for sagebrush steppe to recover and for the sagebrush to restablish itself in an area that's been overgrazed or burned. I've seen steppe that's been burned to ashes from wildfire that looks less desolate than their completely RUINED land.
They're actively fucking up the ecosystem in that area for a LARP.

The pile of shit isn't helping matters either. I would not be surprised if the entire place had to be bulldozed due to the abuse these retards have done. Everyone else will have to be picking up the pieces and rebuild. To put this into perspective: A child born today will grow up, graduate high school, graduate from college, get married, and have their own children strapped in a car seat while they drive by a lot that is visibly scarred and stunted from misuse and abuse. Their land is to the point where it's not even possible for a lot of native plants to grow because the topsoil itself has been stripped away by wind, rain, and hungry animals digging with their hooves for something, anything to eat. It's a moonscape of rocks and sand. The native plants protect and anchor the topsoil with their deep roots, and the soil holds onto more moisture and organic material that the plants need to survive.
Good luck trying to find anyone to buy it in that state. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up abandoning it after they get tired of their little ranch game.
Obviously you weren't paying attention when leftists proved that overpopulation is a fascist mythThey let the alpacas breed unsupervised so the numbers are just exploding and they have no idea what "too many" animals is.
The Kyle Hill ones? I'd love for that guy to do an easy-to-understand but still very detailed dive into the future Tranch wasteland.I was watching a bunch of videos about nuclear accidents (Castle Bravo, SL-1, NRX, the Demon Core, Hisashi Ouchi etc.) this past weekend. Obviously the trancher's impact on the environment isn't even on the same scale as radioactive contamination, but it's pretty wild that I'm now getting to see an ecological disaster unfold in real time. Maybe one day somebody will make a short documentary about Tenacious Unicorn Ranch and its impact on the environment.
Probably just fucked.Do the neighbors have any form of legal recourse? Or are they just fucked?
There's a small, stupid part of my mind that always wants to give the Tranch the benefit of the doubt, for some reason. All we know about the ranch comes from a few dozen tweets a day and occasionally a picture or two, and even with that you have to subtract most of Kevin's tweets because he's only barely aware he lives on a ranch at all. So I always leave room for the possibility that there are things going on that we don't know about that would make this whole endeavor not be as stupid and insane as it appears to be from the outside. I know a lot of people who know more than I do complain about the way they're treating the animals, but it's not impossible that there are a number of possible interpretations of the things the trancheros have said and shown and they're choosing the worst ones. Even when we all started noticing the denuded land I wondered whether that was just something that was happening in the area due to weather and climactic conditions, and maybe the grasses are receding on the surrounding properties as well.View attachment 2088294
The decay is striking. It looks almost like a plain dirt road (see roads to the south for comparison)
I'm saving that tool for other non-tranch related enquiries. Thanks!
Think about the dumbest thing you could do with it. Whatever they're doing with it is worse than that.Forgive me for asking, but what happens with the giant shit pile? Does it just keep expanding, taking over the whole lot? Does someone come by to throw it away someplace else? I'm a city kitty, the most rural I've gone was overnight tent camping.
Good question.I wonder how all the run off from the shit pile and the oils/fuel from those generators are impacting on the local ground water. How long before some unfortunate neighbour finds their water supply to be contaminated.
Probably just fucked.
