I stand corrected, thank you. It's still a giant pile of shit they've shoveled together from sheep, alpaca, chickens, and dogs and are just leaving outside the house. That's a lot of animals to produce a lot of manure that they don't seem to have any plan for, either using it or disposing of it.
The floor on that house makes my skin crawl. That entire building will be saturated with wet dog smell forever.

These men are such narcissists. Obviously sexual abuse in prisons is horrible and should never happen and needs to be stopped.. for everyone. It is not somehow worse because the man being sexually abused "identifies as a woman," which seems to the be the trans narc position on the matter - that their suffering from rape and sexual assault in prison is somehow worse because of their very special identity.
But beyond that, that article.... I mean, they're literally talking about how they need the state to pony up for electrolysis for every trans-identifying inmate, at a cost of thousands of dollars per, because "shaving every day is so hard omg my feels". How narcissistic can you possibly be? There are people in prisons in the US with actual medical problems that go untreated every day, which can lead to complications and even deaths, but no, the real problem here is that a fifty year old man needs to shave his face sometimes!
Finally, anyone wanna bet that dude writes under a pseudonym so that nobody can fact check what his conviction was for?

It's not the alpacas, it's the promise of a safe space for troons. The alpacas are just the cherry on top. I'm reminded a bit of La Zorra, in a way: a bunch of troons gathering in a desert location with grandiose plans, but those plans failing due to their inexperience, incompetence, and basic stupidity.
As for why it worked for as long as it has, I'd say it's a combination of factors. First, troons have more sympathy these days (because Muh Oppression), so people are more likely to fling money at them. Second, whoever runs the Tranch's social media accounts is better at keeping information that could be damaging to the Tranch's reputation buried from the public eye, and they seem to use our autism to figure out what information needs to be hidden (it's not gonna save you faggots!) Third, they have Kevin flinging $1,000 a month at keeping the Tranch operational.
The worst part about all this (aside from the land destruction and borderline animal abuse) is that it won't end in a bang, but with a whimper, and with maximum damage to the environment and animals as possible- and none of the troons will face any consequences for it.
