It’s not uncommon for alpaca farmers to hire someone else to do the shearing. Some of them fly professionals out from New Zealand because it’s worth it for the extra yield, so I won’t give them shit for bringing someone on.

What is disturbing to me is how after a camera crew, journalists, on-screen talent and a team of editors all saw enough of the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch to put together a news segment, not one of them had the sense to see that there’s something deeply wrong with how their managing their animals and their property. It’s like people see the rainbow alphabet shit and that makes them turn their brains off. Or they just wanted an excuse to buy a fuck ton of beer. Still if it's just the tranchers of the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch consuming the leftovers, it'll probably skunk before they drink it all. When I lived in a loft where we'd occasionally throw parties (and a few flat out raves before the cops shut that down), we'd often have more than 100, and the usual liquor buy was a keg, maybe a half dozen handles of bottom shelf liquor, a crate or two of two buck Chuck, and then ridiculous amounts of weed (and sometimes other stuff), and people would also bring their own alcohol and substances.

So I really wouldn't see three kegs as ridiculous for a really big house party, like 100+, assuming nearly everyone was at least a moderate drinker, but for 20 it's completely insane.

More sympathetic viewers for Tenacious Unicorn Ranch should also wonder, after listening to many ~trans voices~, if the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch members are actually being unethical by having so many loaded firearms accessible to a group of minorities with such an astoundingly self-reported high rate of suicide.
