I stopped working on this album like in October.

I have, however, actually put out over 20 songs of varying quality since then.

I've only been working on this for about a week or so.

The genre of the album will be industrial metal.

It's kinda loud, so check your volume.

And please tell me what you think, whether it's good or bad.

Serious analysis: that first guitar sounds neat, but it's kinda muddy and I can't really make out what's being played. Emphasize the attack more and cut the mud. The guitar near the end is sloppy and doesn't really fit into the groove. I don't especially like the tone of it either; doesn't fit too well.

Samples are neat, but if you're going for something danceable, make sure the drums slam hard. I think people over-emphasize guitar noise's importance when most of the actual whomp of a song comes from the snare. Listen to Big Black's stuff for an example of what I mean. The drum machine on Racer-X is what gives that song its power. Also, don't overcompress the mix.

I like the idea, and I've done some similar stuff myself. Just throwing my opinion out there.

Aside from the tone of the second guitar being different, is there really a difference? In 40 seconds, the song's yet to kick in, and that vaguely annoys me.

Honestly, I'd suggest getting a full song finished instead of uploading ten second increments. It'd be easier to judge its progress that way.

You seem very easy to annoy in all honesty.

The song has kicked in, that guitar you are hearing is going to be the main melody.

I want to add more aggressive guitars, as well as some bassy synth work later on.

I want to have a very layered sound, like what you'd hear in Broken by Nine Inch Nails, or pretty much everything by Ministry.
