How can he get banned so many times yet get no real punishment. Why are Twitch mods so soft on Phil?
Because they're false DMCA Claims made by 1 person. The first 2 DMCA claims were made by Superhound and I'm 99% sure that this latest one was also made by him. So it's not so much they're soft on him right now, but that the claims weren't legitimate.

Wonder how many times itll take for Phil to get banned unjustly by a troll for Twitch to consider changing their easily abuse-able DMCA machine
Call me a Phil Hater but I don't see any of Twitch's higher-ups looking at this scenario and thinking "Uh oh, one of our streamers is in trouble! We've gotta do something!". He's too small-time for that. Best case scenario is an IP ban against Superhound.
Especially since Phil is deathly allergic to properly crediting the people who create things for him.

No, i think you're right, Phil is really not a jewel in the twitch crown, they prolly are like "oh no this fucking idiot again" every time he attempts to contact them, but at some they must realize that if its this easily abuse-able then people will eventually begin to build machine-gun DMCA bots to hit multiple streamers both small and big just to fuck with them. I think Phil is the first example of what will become very common in the future where A-logs will just set up a DMCA bot to perma ban any streamer they dislike just because its that easy

I agree, I don't think Phil is getting any special treatment here. I just think their system is functioning as intended, so the illegitimate claims were lifted after a counter notification was reviewed by twitch staff. I highly doubt that they will even ban Superhound unless he gets really obnoxious and obvious by spamming claims every day.

If Superhound were smart, he would only do this on weekends (when twitch response time is slow) and do it very sporadically so that it isn't immediately obvious that its fake.*

*I am obviously not condoning that behavior and am speaking purely in theory.

This is DSP, he's going to luck his way into Twitch's CEO issuing a public apology and paying a senator to repeal the DMCA

I still can't believe he made such a big deal out of this recent DMCA being "far worse" than the others only for him to get unbanned in the shortest amount of time so far. It was probably extremely comparable to the previous 2 instances. He just really cannot help himself.

If things ring true today our superhound lad will pull something during Phil's daytime stream. What will it be?
I'm not encouraging weening in any way or form but it would be funnier if Jenna showed up today.

This arc is getting too samey for my tastes.

Do you think that at one point DSP might get too much for Twitch to handle? If i remember correctly Curse basically kicked him out because he was more trouble then was was worth it. Thoguh with amazon behind Twitch I doubt that scenario will ever happen

Wait, I checked Superhound's Twitter and there's been no new tweets. Where did you get this info from?

Curse dropped a lot of people, it wasn't until some people on twitter posted their copy paste reason as to why they realised it was happening to a lot of them.

Its one of the few times where Phil's "they said they loved my content and I did nothing wrong" statements is actually true.

Because it was a copypaste email sent out to a ton of partner channels. Basically anything deemed even close to advertiser unfriendly got hit.

I'm just speculating at this point. It's how last time went.

I'd much rather Jenna roll up to Fort Goutenworth with the biggest blunt ever and shove Phil off the couch before blowing smoke into the cam and flipping us off.
