The voice of Bill, Elder Titan, and Father Grigori, Jim French, has died - Died the same age as the VA for Eli Vance.

The name Jim French may not make gamers immediately think of anyone in particular, yet his voice has had an impact on millions. Perhaps best known as the voice of William “Bill” Overbeck from Left 4 Dead, Mr. French has unfortunately passed away. Jim French had recently retired from his long-standing position at the head of Imagination Theatre, producing radio plays for over twenty years.

He also appeared and reprised his role for other appearances of Bill's character in Payday's No Mercy DLC, Dead By Daylight's Left Behind DLC, and also played the fisherman from Half Life.

89 years of living and I'm glad he got to live them and die peacefully. Rest in peace.

RIP. To think this was the guy who voiced that crazy but helpful Eastern Orthodox priest from Half-Life 2. He will be missed, not just by gamers whose favorite characters he voiced but also by those that worked with him.
