Probably my favorite comic hands-down and definitely gives me insight as to what Chris thinks a wedding/honeymoon is like. One tradition that Chris really taught me that I never knew before until reading this was the wholwe "father walking down the aisle" tradition.
Seriously, I never knew that before. I was always taught that the bride and groom walked together down the aisle since they were making the commitment together. I later found out that the whole bride and groom walking together was actually a Catholic tradition so that made sense why I wouldn't know about that whole tradition. Still, I was surprised to learn that this wasn't a whole Chris thing. So I guess Chris did teach me something after all.
I still found it interesting that Chris has Sarah as his best man (?) or whatever, but it makes sense considering he found most men to be jerks so of course he would have a woman be his best man (best woman?)
Infact, why was his wedding reception covered in only two panels? Where is the first dance? The bouquet and garter toss? The partying? There was the cutting of the cake, but it took me a while to realize that they were even cutting a cake! So much potential wasted, why did Chris not cover the reception that much? Infact, it seems like he was more interested in the honeymoon (obviously...) and ceremony than the reception.
Why do you think he hardly covered the reception?
