Speaking of Nintendo Switch Online, Mighty Bomb Jack and The Immortal (at least the NES version) are hot garbage. The Japanese version of Nintendo Switch Online has Atlantis no Nazo, which is also a terrible game.
The original Bomb Jack was better. The arcade version without the confusing platforming nonsense. Mighty was a really messy and confusing game IMO. You think it be an improvement.

A few posts ago I mentioned some stupid game with a chicken. I found out it has a ton of games. It's called "Crazy Chicken" in the west and Moorhuhn in Germany. The games are aimed at the casual market, but they are super boring. There is even a copy and paste cart game, a Bejewled clone and others.

Dragon's Lair on NES:

It's bad. It is REALLY bad. The only good thing to say about this version is that both the graphics and music are kinda nice.

Other than that, do yourself a favor and play the arcade version. That or watch either Joel or AGVN play the NES version.

The simpsons games already got posted but I need to second that nomination because I hate all of them except for tomato throwing in Virtual Bart.

Virtual Bart is clearly just crap left on the cutting room floor from Nightmare.
Nightmare is a really weird situation actually. The guy behind it, Bill Williams, was heavily into weird experimental stuff hence the overworld being the way it is. Executives meddled with what he wanted to do so hard that he wound up quitting dev entirely due to it.

Also the worst Simpsons platforming is easily the museum in Bart vs the Space Mutants, specifically this tarpit.

I guarantee you that what you think is walkable in that image, isn't.

I played plenty of Shovelware on the DS, Spectral Force Genesis was the Idea Factory special of garbage barely functional gameplay coupled with nice character designs and at the time I remember feeling like the game was incomprehensible. There was also Windy x Windam, a really bad Nintendo DS game and peak kusoge. I'm pretty sure everyone had infinites and the character designs were all either generic or blatantly stolen from other fighting games.

So it was an Exorcist II situation. No one would have invested in this guy's proof of concept. So he got it greenlit as a Simpsons tie-in.

It's almost avant-garde.

Has anyone mentioned Aliens colonial marines yet?
The typo heard round the world.

Yes, some rando on the internet found a typo in a .txt file which kneecapped the enemy AI. Randy Pitchford must be a very busy man if that escaped his educated eye.

So, this is the game I got with my GameBoy Micro as a mid-teen.

Quite an eventful history this had, it was one of the worst rated Game Boy Advanced titles, period, having been the first 2D fighter on the platform to get a score of zero anywhere. The funny thing is Mortal Kombat II on the original Game Boy was actually playable despite its scarce roster and the crappy screen, but Mortal Kombat 3 returned to the same level of awfulness that as the first ever handheld port of Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat 4 on the Game Boy Color was just so fucking weird, but it could never be as bad as Mortal Kombat Advance. Everything that those ports did bad did fantastic compared to Mortal Kombat Advance. I'm not even sure of the track record of "virtucraft", but I'm sure they've burned a lot of bridges.
