Vox Day's latest addition to his ripoff of Webtoons, Arkhaven's Arktoons, now features a comic strip fantasizing Ted's and Owen Benjamin's epic friendship. Check out this totally realistic depiction of Teddy Beale:

Mercifully, I couldn't find any artist/writer attributions. You have to peruse this goofy shit. Archived link to the self-flagellation here: https://archive.md/N2wTv

Original link here (though you can't comment/rate unless you give Ted a minimum of five bucks a month): https://www.arkhaven.com/comics/com.../big-bears-and-magical-chairs?totalInSeries=1

Edit: I didn't mean to write self-flagellation, but upon further reflection, it fits just as well.

I'll give the cow credit where it's due.

Looks like one of those synthol freaks:

I also bet you the guy can't even bench press his own bodyweight. He sounds like a huge pussy IRL and only sounds 'tough' when posting bullshit on the internet.

It took me a second to figure out that the Bluto character in the comic was supposed to be Owen, since in real life his physique more closely resembles that of Olive Oyl.
Owen is well beyond the Olive Oyl stage. I would say he's closer to Wimpy, but as this low-effort meme I already had on my phone illustrates, the cartoon character he most closely resembles is Carl Brutananadilewski:

Wow, he's looking really very amazingly fat and unwell. I haven't really followed the long and gradual flameout of Owen's descent into madness except where it intersects Teddy's orbit, but it looks like I've been missing out.

Jeez, they got another guy from Fiverr didn't they?
Also I'm honestly disgusted what slimy grifters Teddy and Owen are.
I know I'm going to sound like a broken record but Owen literally quit Hollywood because his failing career failed to pay him "Fuck You" money.
He's on record saying this. Besides he was a shitlib who voted for Hillary until he noticed he could really milk a bunch of whack conservatives dry.

And Voxy Doxy is fine with this, as long as it continues to reel in dipshits to his own Magical Kingdom (Social Galactic/UA.tv) where he can milk these people even more.

Also, what do you guys think are the odds Teddy is using his projects to launder money his old man hid away in foreign bank accounts?

Maybe he's running out of the ill gotten gains. Word on the street is that Tedi had to pawn his magic throne. Maybe THE LEGEND has developed expensive habits and Tedi ain't drawing the Farttoons himself.
The Load is on to something. My personal theory is that he lost a ton of Boomer bucks betting big on God Emperor Trump winning the election. And, if he's anything like his fanbase of balding divorcees, he got fleeced once in November and again in late January.

As for the magical throne, it will be in the shop for repairs for a month. That sounds like a gag, but it is straight from the (dark) horse's mouth. How many of you think his fat ass blew out the seat upholstery?

Also, might Beale Sr. being out of the big house have something to do with this? Maybe he doesn't like the idea of his cash getting bundled as anonymous contributions to crowdfunding movies that never happen.

Beale Sr.
Pappy Bob Beale has indeed been sprung from the joint, though I don't know how much of a condition he is in to protest any of these shenanigans. I mean, the man has clearly always been looney toons, but prison has seemingly exacerbated his condition. While incarcerated, he claimed to have discovered the cures for cancer and AIDS. I always knew toilet wine would be good for something:

This is a partial description of his book he released on Amazon shortly after his prison stint (note the wall of schizotext):

Also, I'm not sure how much the Beale Family is helping him and/or allowing him access to his pilfered tax monies. Despite the company he created being sold to a German firm for an undisclosed sum months before he got out (Star Tribune article/Archive), the family immediately sent him to the mercy of internet strangers with a GoFundMe upon his release. Here's the closed GoFundMe that fell well short of its goal and the Archive. I can't find an old screenshot I had of it atm, but some of the things they were requesting for Pappy's transition from the Big House were a Jeep Cherokee with a trailer hitch, an apartment, and various sundries, among other things in lieu of cash.

Pappy Robert Beale does have a Twitter, but he only has a solitary tweet there from about a year ago. Nothing else interesting about it other than he is only followed by a handful of Gammas.

I actually came here to post about a doozy of a Vox Popoli delusion, but I'll save that for later.

Because that's the Christian thing to do...father just gets out of jail, has issues and you support him by setting up a Go Fund Me.

For someone who credibly thinks he's doing something important by printing unpozzed editions of the Junior Classics, VD doesn't actually seem very interested in getting them in people's hands. Or his enterprise—unlike other of his ventures this is not a grift—is so unsuccessful in one way or another like the way he treats people under him, that he's personally handling all customer support. Which he is constitutionally very bad at:

Of course it's possible the copy editing of these books is as bad as that for Awake in the Nightland by former client John C. Wright, who's nonetheless thankful for what VD did in between Wright moving from Tor to self-publishing. In which case I can see people who've already paid for future volumes disengaging, what they put into this venture being a sunk cost and as for trying to get a refund, see this ending of the posting:

Although maybe there's a specific trigger for this latest snit:

If there's such a thing as "Gamma rage," VD displays there's also such a thing as anti-Gamma rage. Or just rage at people found wanting in his eyes.

"The wrong book counts as a damaged book"?

But if both of them are in perfect shape, how would you tell? That's completely counter-intuitive. Geez, Vox, how are people supposed to STFU and follow directions if you're that unclear on your directions in the first place?

Update on the Patreon debacle. This should be the final update until Ted and the Legal Legion of Dipshits decide to get in over their heads again (which might be very soon).

The most recent JAMS quarterly report was released, and it looks like Owen Benjamin's cannon-fodder bears went total goose eggs in arbitration.
Getting awards in arbitration was never the method towards the goal of putting serious financial hurt on woke corporations like Patreon. Companies don't require binding arbitration in contracts because they expect to lose, although that occasionally happens like with Intel and AMD after the 286 when Intel tried to sole source the 386.

It was to make a huge number of plausible claims that would force Patreon to pay something like $10,000 for each to the arbitration organization, JAMS in this case. Binding arbitration is just not a good model for these sorts of woke corporations that cancel hundreds and thousands of people at a time, it's intended to handle the occasional claim without everyone going to court.
The number of comments is way out of line with his traffic. Country of origin data for all those purported visits would be interesting.
Moderation of VD's Vox Popoli blog's comments is so heavily locked down I don't think we can make such judgements. Everyone must have a Google account, there are frequently long periods when no one is moderating topics, and I'm not sure topics older than a few days get any attention unless they sparked a lot of discussion.

As has been noted here, the lines inside which people are allowed to color are narrow and getting more narrow all the time, one of his latest screeds was against people who double post (which is something the moderators should handle). A lot of the sorts of people who'd comment and have in times past don't need another insulting ban happy forum in which to do so, not when there are an increasing number of "alt-tech" forums with light touches.

Good catch! I forgot to include a link to the posting, in parts which I didn't clip and include above he goes into various scenarios but not that one.

Most people would think their very fine bound in goat skin leather duplicate should be returned, although that might not make financial sense when they're bound in Italy but obviously mostly shipped across borders to English speaking countries. In my experience with much more modest books, a seller might ask you to donate it to somewhere it'll do some good.

With the evil league being what it is, seems like they should be able to set up a system of trading. "Oh you got 2 of vol II? I got 2 of vol I. I'll send you mine if you send me yours."

EDIT: and like you point out, especially with the "saving western civ" thing, why not have a charity or two set up to take the extra books? Ready selected libraries or such?
