Lets talk about this particular Hedgehog Boys single for fun

So, whats up with Chris's love for Zordon? All he was was a floating blue head. Has he even seen any of the Post-Zordon seasons? Lost Galaxy was actually pretty good.

One time, I showed the "Revive Zordon" comic strip to a Power Rangers forum, the reaction was priceless.

He has everyone's views on the internet about Power Rangers. He believes that Mighty Morphin' was the best and all the following seasons suck even though he never watched a single episode outside of Mighty Morphin'.

It's nothing more than nostalgia goggles. From what I've seen, Power Rangers actually improved over time where I think it was trying to grow up with the audience. Then had its ups and downs with the Disney seasons and I have no idea how its doing now.

Oh my god, shut this "Why doesn't Chris like X" shit down right now. You want to talk about Power Rangers, go to general. The Chris subforum exists to talk about Chris. No one here cares about which of the 19 seasons of Power Rangers you think is best.

Zordon represents the Power Rangers story arc that most old-school fans remember most fondly (it did, after all, give us Johnny Yong Bosch). The series became quite hit-and-miss after that.

And if there's anything Chris is good at, it's being nostalgic as fuck.

Wasn't the series hit-and-miss to begin with? It's not like Mighty Morphin is the most fondly remembered.
Is it?

Amended.

Eh, Ted Nugent ruined it for me before Chris could when he became a gun-humping teabagger.

I was thinking yesterday, in his comics, the hedgehogs are the furry version of the power rangers and the mayor is Zordon in Chris' OC-based-on-other-copyright-fiction spewing mind. Combine with him singing this chart topping hit, and what we know about his Roger Rabbit theory of existence, meant that, in a way, no Zordon in the rest of the PR series means he had nothing to identify with and mentally strip mine the new shows for ideas to plagiarize in the never made continuing adventures of :sonichu: through. I think that Zordon in particular and Power Rangers in general is actually an under-explored, legitimate facet of Chris-tory that has both relevance in his artistic output and it doesn't fall under the usual unrelated void of why didn't he get into 'X?'

If that allegorical reading of the similarities between the disembodied leader and the elected official holding leader of the respective works is accurate, that would make the Choatic Combo a kind of third generation rip off of Voltron that had lost the ability to merge into a greater fighting vehicle. All things :medallion: at their finest on display all around in that irony. Of course, really, to me, they're a striped shirted Modok and his multi-colored, furry AIM employees but Chris' limitations as a writer make that accurate depiction of their actions a little hard to pick up from the poor work quality evident in the comics both visually and in a narrative sense.

Disney did ok trying to keep it a little grown up. However, it was recently sold back to Saban and they made the series more child friendly than the original. It lost the appeal it had for some of the older crowd if you ask me. Especially if you've been exposed to some of the Japanese Super Sentai and have that to compare it to.

Getting back to reviving Zordon. He died for a reason (so that all the evil in the universe would be crushed). Shouldn't be revived. Sorry Chris!

See, I avoided exposure to this franchise like :briefs: so I didn't know that. So Slaweel would be the character most likely trying to revive his analog in :sonichu: issue #13-P I guess?

What I find interesting is knowing how bad Chris is with facial recognition, just WTF does he think Zordon really looks like anyway?

Actually, Saban did introduce Gosei, Zordon's apprentice in Megaforce. It's probably the closest Chris is gonna get.
