It seems like he's confused relative velocity and absolute velocity, as well as any person unfortunate enough to watch this thing. He also seems to think that things move through space by basically teleporting? Is that based in reality at all?

I cant speak to the rest of it, but this part actually makes a bit of sense if you think about it like an animator. He basically simplified real life movement down into key frames. He lost me pretty much right after that part though.
