Actual veterans and soldiers are smart enough to realize that a mentally ill man spouting nonsense doesn't do anything to besmirch their service.

Completely agree, personally as an Iraq vet it's obvious that he's not really in the service.

Personally doesn't bother me, seeing as he can barely decide what branch of service he was in.
