Thoughts on the ddos on onion sites from the past months -

  • Sustained Denial of Service attacks. Paid for botnet. Service will continue to be disrupted until I can contact other providers and arrange a fix.

They do this every so often. In order to break Tor, they need a compromised entry and exit node. Ordinarily the odds of any two nodes being compromised is astronomically low, but if they DDoS all the non-compromised nodes and then flood traffic, they can identify traffic
In addition to this some of the attacks are from market competitors, depending on the type of site you're accessing

So with that traffic can they get the real IP of a site? damn , btw why won't they fight pedophilia if they can ddos at that rate? Or have any of those people done something like that?

I was thinking about this stuff as dread used to go down every now and then.

AFAIK they do the attack once in a blue moon targeting big drug trafficking networks and also CP sites if they're feeling nice.

Nigga this is 2021, not 1991. You arn't going to be flooding shit with 100 bots. These days even shitty ISPs have massive phat pipes. There's a reason botnets of thousands and thousands of machines have become the standard for DDOSing.

Ahh that's actually nice. But I've tried to use usual botnets to ddos tor sites and it wasn't possible :/

I setup two different botnets and had around 50 bots but the tor site wouldn't go down....
plz actually pay money for your stresser nxt time thx

This seems more like a government sponsored attack than a hacking scene proving ground.

This whole thing glows in the dark for how complex it is to ddos an onion site.

ahh yeah but I didn't have enough targets , I easily pwned a few machines by chatting with people on omeagle)

Yeah but I don't know if there exists a stresser/booter that can ddos a tor site.

I don't buy illegal drugs online and I don't download cp so I didn't notice it happening.
Neither do I watch CP , tbh I hate pedophilies. Plus Dread which a forum that I frequently use was down too.

Admitting to crimes on a public forum is pretty fucking stupid.
Hmm there might be a reason for me to say that and you can't see past it. (づ ̄ 3 ̄)づ
